I've actually never seen the TV series; these days, I don't really watch much commercially-released animation that's not theatrical ^_^

In general, though, over the years I've found that if an anime is based on a manga, then the manga is generally better. The only exceptions to this guideline that I've come across are His and Her Circumstances and GTO. Usually works the other way around, too (again, with rare exceptions).

Understandable. FF7 doujinshi these days is (in general) more expensive than usual, especially the newer stuff like this one.

Perhaps I'll post scans once I get it, though ^_^
