The love of my life has gone over the Rainbow Bridge today. Her body just gave out on her, and I had little choice but to give her the most peaceful ending possible. I was the last thing she saw and felt before she lost consciousness, and her final moments were peaceful, relaxed.
I love you, baby. You were a blessing and a joy. Raising you has taught me so much. I didn’t want to say goodbye to you, but you deserved your final rest. And now you’re finally beyond pain. I’m only sorry you had to suffer for as long as you must have suffered with those failing joints.
Please wait for me on the other side. I’m not in any hurry to get there, so I hope you won’t mind a bit of a wait. I look forward to seeing your beautiful face once I’ve crossed that bridge myself.
Thank you for almost 14 years of love and companionship. I love you, Kimba, and I will miss you terribly.
