this weekend, my VSC, TRAC OFF, and Check Engine lights came on in the toaster.  TRAC OFF is for Traction and we think VSC has something to do with Stability Control and that the check engine light is attached to those as well.

nothing was going funky when they came on...and then were off again after a few hours.  So i dunno what the heck is up.

I do have to take it in for an oil change, so I will see if they can figure it out (whatever it is, it should be covered by warranty).
ETA: it looks like it might have just been my gas cap...when reading the forums on Z's phone at the range on saturday, i tightened it just in case.  a few hours later is when the lights turned off.  hopefully that was the issue!

I decided to start taking an iron supplement every day.  my multi-vitamin only has 50% of the daily recommended value...hopefully this will help with the bruising and the dark circles under my eyes.

the husband made his first actual sale for his new gig.  that is exciting. :-D

training is coming along.  this week we step it up to 10 seconds jogging and 50 seconds walking for varying "laps"/distances throughout the week.  I already need new shoes (got the current ones in april and have been walking with them on a fairly regular basis)...the tread is almost completely gone on the left foot.  aparently, I supinate (under-pronate?) when I am walking/running.  that explains alot of the pain/issues i have.

i have had a few people question my ability to actually complete the whole marathon (or half, if that is what it comes down to).  All they are doing is adding fuel to my fire for getting it done.  ooh...if only they knew!

work is slowslowslow.  the bossman did pull us into a meeting and revoke PTO requests for September/October due to the stress/workload expected...it didn't affect me since my request is in for the last week of August and then in November.  Just something to look forward to.  Yay...or something.  At least we can expect some OT in there somewhere though.  yay for OT!

okay.  that's enough for now.

running, car, work stuff
