warning ::spoilers:: for you Scarlet and Gantz fans
Well I finally got my copy of Scarlet by Hiro Madarame, and I have to say, I'm very disappointed. I actually prefer the scanlated version. Ok, so the first story is very controversial for some, which is expected due to the shrugging off of rape an attempted murder thing. I was ok with it..sord off. In the scanlated version, Ryo explains that he did it cause Tae said " Why don't you kill me? For my sake kill me! If you love me prove it". So he took that as if he can't have Akio, he'll kill him and make him all his. That sorda thing. But in the licensed version, Ryo said that Tae said to Kill Akio and get it over with. To kill him for her, if he loved her to prove it with that. And the idiot tried to kill Akio. He did it because this women said so, even though he did do it because he wanted to make Akio all his, he still listened to this women. So now I just hate Ryo. I was peeved with him, but now can't stand him.. The only good part about the first story in the licensed version, was that Yamamoto called Tae a B***h. I Actually like Yamamoto the most.
In the second and third story, I think the couples are really cute. Last story, I think Naoki and Keito would've been so much happier if the tried talking to each other. Due to all the sleeping around Keito did in the beginning of the relationship, Naoki became self concious. (even though he probably was in the beginning already) So he didn't realize Keito had stopped cheating. He never really asked so he just assumed he was still doing it. It's obvious they love each other.
On to a non BL topic..
I recently watched Gantz, it's an anime, it was so addicting I actually watched all the episodes in a day. But then it ended, and I was PO. I hate hate animes/ shows/manga/whatever where everyone basically dies in the end. Argh.. I was so mad at the second last battle and Kato(spelling) dies..he was so close too! And that last episode wtf?? what the heck happened? The ppl who watched Kie and Kato get hit by the train were brought in by Gantz. Why? I didn't understand what happened. I'd read the manga, but in the manga kei gets a girlfriend, and it seemed like he needed to protect her all the time, now she was pulled in by Gantz because she took pictures of the players or something. Or so the summary says. I basically watched for Kie and Kato (fully aware it's not BL), but since Kato died I lost interest. Oh btw the girl Kie, was so damn annoying, always hiding behind Kato, then talks all big and try to get everyone to protect him. I wish she had tried to do something herself than try to tell everyone what to do...
I also managed to transfer all of my stuff to my new drive! Yay!
