My friend Gwen has a novel inside her (well, only one is showing, but I suspect there are actually more lurking) that she is trying to get out. I love that you are updating because I always want to know what's going on with you and I totally dig the way you write and your view of the world.
Mostly I'm just trying to make myself promise me that I will write for at least an hour every day. Whether this will mean there's a whole thing for you to read later, I have no idea :)

I get into these long ruts of not visiting LJ and then feeling so overwhelmed by all the not posting and not commenting that I have been doing that I freak out and run away. But at least in November I will do my damndest to visit every day.
No worries about the end product at all! This is just practice right? Probably the book fer reals will come later. You just have to get the flow started, I figure. Once you open the portal I believe more stuff will come spewing out than you know what to do with! (That sounds a bit gross, doesn't it? But for me writing has always been really akin to, um, bowel movements anyway, in terms of the buildup and catharsis and all, which is prooooobably why it is better that I am just an editor and not a writer in the long run.)
