So I had sinus surgery yesterday. I'm more calling it a sinus procedure because really it wasn't surgery; it just involved general anesthesia (which I was really, really okay with; I don't want to be awake when they're vacuuming out my head). It went fine, and Morgan and I were home by like 11am I think. I pretty much slept all of yesterday

Bone-wise, if you're feeding raw you'll want non-weight bearing bones--shoulder blades, ribs--not legs or knuckles. Dogs can eat the non-weight bearing bones completely, but they just chew on the others. The heavier bones can splinter and hurt your dog as well.

We feed HK in the morning and the NWN in the evening, but I'm wondering if we can/should switch to the frozen raw for both meals. Buddy eats both without a problem but I think he's more enthusiastic about the raw.
And trust me--this dog is ridiculously spoiled. But he's my baby and I love him to pieces and I don't think I could have gotten through the last year without him, so I don't feel guilty about it :)
