calling AZ peoples
So I spent about three grand today of my employer's money. That was kind of fun. As a result I will be going to Scottsdale, AZ in August (I know. I'm going to broil.) for a training class on ITIL Service Operations. I'm actually looking forward to the class, less so being in Arizona in August, but I'll survive and everything's air-conditioned.
I'm just hoping I can get this expensed in the next couple days so it goes on the FY14 budget. Then I have a chance of getting the other class I want (San Francisco in December) approved on the FY15 budget. If not I'll have to wait. Since the class and exam are about $3k, I'm not paying for it out of pocket.
Thus, question. If you are in that area or can make it to that area, would you be interested in a friendly meet-up? I have zero idea whether anyone in my circle is in that particular area, but figured I'd ask.
