Wearing my tinted computer glasses tonight, have been for the last...four hours or so, and I have no headache. Like, not even a little one. Well, maybe a tiny teeny small one, but.
Maybe this was worth the money after all. It's a combination of the tint and I think something else they added to the top prescription; it's not a magnifier, exactly, but it's something in combination with my regular prescription that makes everything a little clearer and easier to read. Maybe it is a magnifier? What do they use in OTC reading glasses?
I did pick up my regular glasses today and I feel like I'm Bono with the pink lenses, I mean, dude, but hopefully they'll be worth it. I did learn I absolutely can't wear them on the computer; the tint's just *wrong*. But the computer glasses are great.
The ergonomic consult went well; I have some options for customizing my desk in the MOC, and she's going to email me a form I can get my doctor to fill out so I can get a standing desk (they're installed based on medical need. I am *positive* my neurologist, my pain doctor, or my PCP would be willing to fill out a form saying my headaches would be in part eased by a standing desk) and we'll see how that goes.
The weather around here is really freaky today. Blue sky to snow to blue sky to windy to...I don't even know. Fortunately I'm not in the MOC tomorrow so if I can't get into work due to surprise!snow, it's not a big deal. But I don't think that'll happen.
