To be honest, life functions with formulas, of equations with numbers, letters and symbols with clear-cut role to give living yet clueless people of an exact answer.
Sometimes, love is like that, well, he believes so when he founds a piece of white paper card on top of his Algebra textbook when he enters his working cubicle.
Maybe I’m neither Pythagoras nor Fibonacci, maybe I’m just your ordinary student and maybe I understand nothing of the great Quantum theory, but I’m confident that my knowledge in the Proof theory can beat even yours.
His black-rimmed glass shifts as he smiles, more than amused, and it’s then when he hears some commotion from the students outside of the teachers’ room.
He follows some teachers out, all curious when he feels all eyes are on him the moment he steps outside.
And maybe he’s a little more than surprised to see one Park YooChun there one floor down at the college’s football field with some huge placards up in the air.
And no, his ears aren’t two shades darker of red when people all around him altogether and simultaneously read all aloud of the written words on each of the placards.
Kim JaeJoong!
Maybe Sir Isaac Newton is your most ideal man and maybe his Binomial Theorem is your perfect declaration of love
But do you know what’s world greatest theorem is?
He watches as the young man drops the previous placard to reveal the last one, and his heart just skips a beat or two.
( Park YooChun - Kim JaeJoong = 0 )
And again, no, he doesn’t blush that hard when the young man grins handsomely at him.
He mouths of I’ll punish you later at our home to the still grinning man and runs back into his working cubicle with smiles so wide. Foolish Chunnie.
And now, who says that love can’t be solved with formulas?
