With so many economists and politicians shouting the praises of globalization you'd think it was money that made the world go-round. But, it's not. The real earth mover is gravity, or more generally the laws of nature. But most economists and politicians are so blinded by individual, short term gain that they have completely lost track with reality. Unfortunately for the rest of us, these are the people who are supposed to be responsible for making sure the human race is run effectively.
Somehow millions of people can see the disasterous effects of continuing on the path of globalization, but the short sided leaders can not. Somehow everyone except for the politicians and CEOs can see the far reaching effects of continuing with our wastefull consuming habits. The body of the human race can feel the sickness overcoming it and threatening life. But, the head has so dilluded its self with synthetic substances and visions of ultimate power, that it doesn't see the problem.
The saying, cut off the head and the body will die, does not hold true for us anymore. We must remove or circumvent the blinded head or it will destroy us all.
