LOL...it sure seems that way.

It seems like yesterday that my oldest was 5...she's going to be 12 in December.

Oh, and I finished Fifth Elephant at, like, one in the morning. Really enjoyed it! Have to go dig out one of the others from DH's Pratchett Library.

Yay! I love all the books that have Carrot and Vimes and the Watch in them, so look for those (Guards! Guards!, Jingo, Night Watch, etc.)

The Wikipedia entry is awfully helpful, if you need it.

I'll have to take a look at it! But I know that the ones you mentioned...Jingo, Night Watch, Guards!Guards!...are all on the bookshelf downstairs. :-)

I love the dry wit...and Vimes is just a great character...I think he handles any new situation or predicament like any of us would...kind of bemused, occasionally flabbergasted, but drawing on the brains and experience we've got to find the best answers.
