Studying for my last exam right now in the lib with my bro while listening to Regina Spektor, if she was a man, I'd make her have my babies... but she's not. I just love her songs and the way she plays the piano. Her songs are amazing too, I've gone pass the stage where I just listen to the instruments and sound arrangements and started listening to the lyrics. That's my music listening process--I first listen to the sounds of the the instruments and the voices together and am either pleased by what I am hearing or displease. If pleased I keep listening and then eventually I wonder about the lyrics and then start really listening. Unless of course it is a foreign song. I used to look up the lyric translation of foreign songs, but know I listen to so many foreign songs that I just don't have the time to do that anymore. Hopefully I start looking up the translations again because some of these songs are just so beautiful.
This week I've been listening to music non-stop. Mine and Dar's since my room mate left early and Dar took her place (temporarily) as my room mate.
