THE iTUNES SHUFFLE FIC MEME:
1. Pick a character, pairing, or fandom you like.
2. Turn on your music player and put it on random/shuffle.
3. Write a drabble related to each song that plays. You only have the time frame of the song to finish the drabble; you start when the song starts, and stop when it's over. No lingering afterwards!
4. Do ten of these, then post them.
1. Remember - Big Bang (GDYB)
All you wanted to do was remember. Remember his face, his voice, his touch. Everything. You knew you wouldn't be able to live without him.
Even if all you had were memories now.
"I promise you, forever," he said softly, cradling your face in his hands. "I love you."
And you believed him. Believed every word he said.
And here you are now, all alone with nothing pictures to remember.
Tears fall slowly down your cheek as you hold up a picture of the two of together. The two of you, smiling and happy and very much in love. Your hands tremble as you grip the picture frame tighter.
"I promise you, forever," you whisper.
And then picture falls to the ground, shattering instantly.

You sip your drink coolly, eying the mass of dancing people around you. Pathetic, all of them.
You could break any of their hearts in less than an hour, without even trying.
Because that's what you do best. You break hearts. It's not a real profession, no. But, just something that you liked to do in your spare time. You liked the pretty boys the best, something about bringing them down from such a high was more appealing to you.
And as you slowly finish your drink, a pretty boy happens to catch your eye. He's sitting at the other end of the bar, sipping his drink and watching you. You scoff to yourself. You knew that look.
You saunter your way over to him, and dramatically drape yourself on the chair next to him.
"Hey, pretty boy. What is a guy like you doin' here?" you ask, not hesitating to jump into the conversation.
He grins and throws his arm around your waist, pulling you closer, "Lookin' for you, heartbreaker."

You were tired. Tired of having to force this relationship. Especially when it was so damn obvious that he didn't care anymore.
And so you left. Without any words, you just left one day.
You didn't really expect him to contact you, either. And so, when he showed up on your doorstep later that week, you were surprised.
"Baby, come back. Please, I need you," he begged.
And you couldn't answer him. You knew that if you went back, it'd be exactly the same as before. But...seeing him so helpless, it hurt you.
"Can we give it one more try? Please, I'm begging you," he continued.
You shook your head, and didn't say anything. No, you didn't want to try anymore.

He had the world upon a string, everything on a silver platter. He never had to work hard for anything in his life.
And that's why he couldn't understand why he had to work so hard now, all for just a boy. A skinny boy with an absurd fashion sense.
A boy he truly wanted, but could never seem to catch.
"Why can't we just be together, hyung?" he asked one day.
You didn't answer at first, you didn't want to hurt his feelings. But you had to say it. "I don't love you, I'm just passing the time."
"But, I love you, hyung."
"You could love me if I knew how to lie. But who could love me? I am out of my mind, throwing a line out to sea, to see if I can catch a dream."
And you knew he didn't really hear you. You looked in his eyes, and all you saw was the sky. Deep and beautiful and endless, but unresponsive.
"But, I love you, hyung."
You sighed, maybe. Maybe you should just let him catch you.

In a perfect world, this would never happened. But honestly, you should have been able to see it. You should have been able to seen this coming.
You should have been able to see that the two of them would end up together.
And you should have been able to see that, even though he's your best friend, he would throw it all away to be with him. Because, hell, you would throw it all away too. Just to be with him.
But as it was, here you are. With no best friend and no lover. No one there to care for you, and no one for you to give your love too. Pathetic, really. Someone like you, ending up all alone.
All alone and still waiting. For either one of them. At this point, you didn't even care anymore. You just wanted one of them to come back into your life, and give it some meaning.
But then again, this isn't a perfect world. And everything you've done for them, means nothing at all now. Nothing at all.

"I-I have something I need to tell you," you say awkwardly, shuffling your foot nervously.
He doesn't look up from his newspaper. "Hum, what could it possibly be this time, hyung?" he spits out the last word.
"Well, you see. That...That girl? Remember, the one I told you about..."
"Oh, yeah. That slut you picked up one night and had sex with for a couple hundred bucks? Yeah, I remember. What about her now?" he coldly asks, still not looking at you.
"Well. Um, she...She's kind of...Pregnant?" you softly say.
He lowers his paper, and finally looks at you. Disbelief flickering across his face. "Pregnant? Seriously? Are you fucking kidding me, Jiyong?"
You cringe slightly, "No, she...She called me yesterday. She said she's keeping it."
"Get out, now."

But no, none of that was even worth it if you don't have someone special to share it with. That's why you were so blessed.

He laughs softly, and you love the sound of his laugh, and replies, "I love you too."

You scoff and roll your eyes. Because this this is Kwon Jiyong talking. And Kwon Jiyong is too damn complicated to simply mean what he says. And so you turn around pleadingly say, "Stop kidding, hyung."
And since you're turned around, you don't see the pained look flicker across his face, nor do you hear his sharp intake of breath as he hears your words.
However, you do hear his mumbled reply of, "Of course. I was kidding. Why would I actually love you, maknae?"
And the way he says, like he's biting his tongue makes you turn back around to look at him. But all you see is him smirking at you, and you roll your eyes once again.
Kwon Jiyong was just too damn complicated for your liking.

You watch from a distance as his arms snakes around another, and your heart hurts. You watch from a distance as he kisses another, and your heart hurts. You watch from a distance as you wish he was yours again, and your heart hurts.
You would do anything, anything to have another chance with him. The two of you completed each other in so many different ways. It was impossible that the two of you weren't made for each other.
"I...I just don't think you're ready," he had said, "I think you need more time, and I just don't have that time."
But you've grown, and you know how to be his everything now. You regret being so naive in the past, but...But he knew why you had been like that. And you couldn't believe that he had used that as an excuse.
But regardless, you were willing to try again. If only, he hadn't moved on. If only, if only he could be yours again. Then you'd show him.

His love for you was something like, like sugercane in the easy morning. Hard to explain, yet so enjoyable that you never asked for the explanation anyways. But sometimes, sometimes it hurt and he made you hurt so much that you wanted to stop.

"Melt your headaches, call it home," is all he would say, and then he would kiss your pain away.
