Christmas Day

Dec 24, 2010 16:06

The light filtering through the blinds is what woke Luke up. Despite having no sun out, the morning light was bright and hurt Luke’s eyes. He rubbed the sleep out of them and then looked down at the sleeping figure curled in his arms. Luke smiled and gently kissed the figure’s cheeks and nose and forehead and finally his mouth. The figured moaned and kissed back, a smile breaking out on his face.

“Merry Christmas.”

“Merry Christmas.”

Reid opened his eyes and looked up at his husband. He pulled Luke back into another kiss, this time making it deeper. When they finally parted the two were panting, sucking in the air the other let out. The foreheads joined together in a familiar touch and they closed their eyes again, enjoying this moment together.

“What time is it?”

Luke lifted his head slightly and looked at the alarm clock behind Reid’s shoulder.

“7:02.”

“I wonder if-”

“Daddy!” A delighted shriek rang through the house and the bedroom door flew open. A young girl ran to the bed and crawled in, lying between her fathers. “It’s Christmas! Did you see all the presents under the tree?” MacKenzie snuggled closer to Reid, burying her head in his chest.

“Mac, what do you say?” Luke ran his fingers through the girl’s red curls, pulling the hair away from her face.

“Merry Christmas!” MacKenzie turned around and gave Luke a kiss and did the same with Reid. She then got to her knees and looked wide eyed at the two of them. “Santa left me all those gifts! He must have gotten my letter. I was very very good.”

“Yes you were Baby. But you do know that some of those gifts are for your cousins and aunts and uncles, right?” Luke looked at the excited girl. He always loved Christmas, but once he, Reid, and MacKenzie became a family it became that much more special to him.

“I know. But a lot of them are mine, right?”

“Yes, Strawberry, some of them are yours.” Reid rolled his eyes. His hands were behind his head and he was still lying in the bed. He still didn’t particularly care for Christmas, but it made his daughter and his husband happy so who was he to argue over it anymore?

“Can we open them now? Pleeeease?”

“Strawberry, Dad and I thought about opening presents later on this morning. Or at the Farm with the rest of the family.” Reid hid his smile as MacKenzie’s eyes tripled in size. “Wouldn’t you like that?”

“I-I guess.” MacKenzie’s face looked down at the bedspread. She had the same poker face as Luke and that was none at all.

Luke smacked Reid in the chest hard and got up, stretching a bit. “Daddy’s joking Sweetie. Come here. Let’s go see what Santa brought.” Luke opened his arms and MacKenzie, a big smile on her face again, jumped into them. They were walking out of the bedroom when the girl turned around and looked at Reid.

“Are you coming Daddy?”

“I’ll be there in a minute.” Reid watched them leave and then relaxed into the bed, enjoying the quiet. He had worked several shifts back to back, making sure he’d be able to take Christmas Eve, Christmas, and the day after off. It had been tiring but seeing the smiles on Luke and MacKenzie’s faces the night before during Christmas Eve dinner at the Farm and now this morning made it all worth it.

When Reid finally did get up and walked out into the living room he saw wrapping paper everywhere. MacKenzie was playing with one of the many dolls they had bought her while sitting in Luke’s lap, the two of them both on the floor.

“Daddy, look what Santa gave me!” MacKenzie waved her doll at Reid and held it out for him. He took it in his hands as if it was a foreign object.

“This is great Mac. So Santa got what was on your list?”

“He got me everything that was on my list! He must like me.”

“I’m sure he does.” Reid looked pointedly at Luke and Luke blushed, his eyes looking away from Reid and back to MacKenzie still in his lap. They had agreed that they wouldn’t get everything MacKenzie asked for, but Reid was too busy to help Luke with the shopping. In the back of his head he knew Luke would get their daughter everything she wanted. He spoiled her something good. But if Reid was honest he spoiled the little girl too.

“He left you a gift too.” MacKenzie pointed to a small box that was still sitting underneath the tree.

“Did he now?” Reid joined them on the floor, wrapping an arm around Luke’s waist.

“Mm hmm.” MacKenzie crawled out of Luke’s lap to get the small wrapped gift and then back again, finding the same spot she was in when Reid first came into the room. She handed the gift to Reid and started to play with her doll again. “He left Dad a presso machine.”

“Espresso machine Honey.” Luke spoke up, his eyes finding Reid’s again.

“Yeah, that. Can I open your gift Daddy?” MacKenzie threw the doll down on the floor and set her attention on the small box in Reid’s hands. “Dad let me open his.”

“Sure. Knock yourself out Kid.” Reid tossed the box back to MacKenzie and she tore the paper off quickly. Underneath was a medium sized green box and MacKenzie tried to open it hastily. When she finally got through the tape and the top off she scrunched up her face, looking decidedly displeased.

“What is it Strawberry?” Reid was amused. He wondered what Luke could have gotten him that MacKenzie would disapprove of.

“It’s a key.”

“What?”

“A key.” The girl held up a silver key with a black plastic top and a black plastic remote in her small hands. “Is it to a dollhouse?” MacKenzie’s eyes lit up in hope.

“No, I don’t think it’s to a dollhouse,” Reid said slowly, turning his head to look at Luke. Luke was staring at him with a small smile on his face.

“Why would you want a key if it’s not to a dollhouse?”

“Hey Mac,” Luke finally spoke up, “why don’t you get changed? We’ll be going to the Farm soon to see Grandma Emma and Grandma Lucinda and everyone else.”

“Okay.” MacKenzie stood up and handed the key to Reid before running to her bedroom. Reid and Luke didn’t speak a work to each other, almost daring the other to make the first move. Finally Reid gave in.

“A key?”

“Mm hmm.”

“Luke.”

“Maybe you’ve been good this year and Santa wanted to reward you.” Luke smirked at Reid, trying to lessen the sudden serious mood in the room.

“Luke.”

“I’m going to go help Mac. You should go to the garage and see the gift Santa left.” Luke leaned in and gave Reid a powerful kiss, ending it with a loud smack. He got up and left the room without turning back. Reid sat there, stunned. He turned to look at the Espresso machine and cringed, instantly hating the gift Luke told him to. He slowly got up and walked to the garage. When he opened the door he saw a shiny black car with a green bow on top.

“Oh my fuck,” Reid said under his breath, his body trembling a bit. His left hand tapped on his leg nervously as he walked to the vehicle. His fingers lightly ran across the body of the car as he walked around it, inspecting the surface. He looked inside, seeing leather seats and a dashboard filled with gages. Reid kept inspecting the car and his eyes ran over the words Aston Martin on the side. He took a couple of deep breath, trying to retain his demeanor.

“You like it?” Luke voice cut through the silence and Reid turned to him. He could tell his husband was trying not to smile but his eyes gave everything away.

“Do I like it? I’m hard just from looking at it.”

“I guess that definitely means you like it.” Luke left his place by the door and walked up behind Reid. He wrapped his arms around the older man’s waist and placed his chin on Reid’s shoulder. They stood there silently, looking at the car together.

“It’s too much Luke,” Reid finally spoke up, his eyes still leering at the car.

“Why don’t you let me be the judge of that okay?”

“I got you a fucking espresso machine.”

“I wanted an espresso machine.” Reid finally turned and looked at Luke as best as he could, skepticism written all over his face. Luke laughed. “I did! Ever since we went to that little coffee place in Malta this summer I’ve been trying to recreate it and Damian told me that I needed that machine. It’s specially made in Italy. Did you even take a look at how much it cost?”

“It’s wasn’t as much as this Luke.”

“Hey, look at me. Reid, look at me.” Luke turned Reid’s body until they were facing each other. He returned his arms back on Reid’s waist and looked him in the eyes. “Six Christmases ago you gave me the greatest gift ever.” Luke removed his left arm from Reid’s waist and raised his hand to eye level, showing Reid the platinum band that was around his ring finger. “There is nothing, and I mean nothing, that I could ever buy you that would even come close to this. You gave me the perfect gift that day. So no more ‘this is too much Luke’ stuff, okay? You will always win the best gift award.”

Reid looked at Luke, seeing the sincerity in his eyes, before crashing his mouth onto Luke’s. He kissed him hungrily, forcing his tongue in Luke’s mouth, taking ownership. He pulled Luke’s body close to his, letting his hands cup Luke’s ass, squeezing it with force. When he need air Reid broke the kiss and leaned back against the car bringing Luke with him.

“Where’s Mac?”

“Talking to my mother about how great Santa is.” Luke rolled his eyes. He knew Lily would oblige in MacKenzie’s fantasies.

“I want to fuck you in the car.” Reid started attacking Luke’s neck, biting and sucking and trying to mark him.

“Reid!”

“What?” Reid placed a hard bite on Luke’s neck and heard him yelp. He soothed it with his tongue.

“We can’t have sex now. Mac isn’t going to stay on the phone with my mother forever.”

“Long enough.”

“And there isn’t enough room in the car.”

“We’ll make do. We’ve made do before.” Reid pulled the keys from his pocket and hit buttons until he heard the car doors unlock. He opened the door and somehow got the front seat to go down vertically. He sat and started working on Luke’s pants.

“Dad!” Luke froze when they heard MacKenzie’s yell from inside the house, but Reid continued to pull down Luke’s pants just enough to stick a hand inside them.

“Yeah baby?” Luke swallowed hard and he felt Reid’s warm hands wrap around his cock, jerking him slowly.

“When are we going to the Farm? Grandma said…” Luke could barely pay attention to what MacKenzie was saying as Reid had pulled his pants down even further and had swallowed his cock, the tip hitting the back of Reid’s throat. Luke moaned loudly, his head falling back in pleasure and a hand grabbing Reid’s hand and tugging on it gently.

“Reid, not now.”

Reid pulled off of Luke’s dick with a loud pop. “Just let me suck you off Luke. I just, I need to do this. God I need this.” Reid quickly returned Luke’s cock into his mouth, taking Luke down his throat in one smooth motion. It still amazed Luke, after eight total years together, that Reid’s pleasure seem to derive from Luke’s pleasure.

“Ngggh.” Luke’s eyes rolled into the back of his head and his grabbed Reid’s auburn curls with both of his hands now, holding Reid still as best as he could while he fucked Reid’s mouth. He was so far gone that he almost didn’t hear the garage door opening. Almost.

“Don’t come in here!” Luke’s voice shrieked as his head snapped back up, his eyes opening wildly and his hips stopped moving. He could feel Reid’s head continue to bob up and down on him, albeit at a slower pace.

“Why not?” MacKenzie’s voice was muffled through the door. She turned the handle again before Luke yelled out once more.

“MacKenzie, do what I say. Do not come in here.”

“But Dad…”

“There’s a rat!” Luke knew the girl was terrified of rats after seeing one at the Farm and screaming so loud the next farm over heard her. “There’s a rat in here and me and Daddy are trying to get it so you go back in to your room and stand on the bed and we’ll come get you when we’re done, alright?”

MacKenzie’s reply was a loud screeching noise and footsteps running away from the garage door. Luke sighed in relief and ran his hands over his face before pulling them through his hair. He did not want to explain what he and Reid were doing to MacKenzie on Christmas, before going to the Farm where surely she would tell everyone. Luke shook his head and realized Reid’s mouth was off of him. He looked down and saw Reid looking at him, his mouth wide open in silent laughter. Reid was laughing so hard he had to lie over both front seats, his hand covering his chest while he gasped for air.

“You think this is funny?”

“You…didn’t…have to…lie to the…poor girl.”

“And what was I suppose to say Reid? ‘Don’t come in the garage MacKenzie. Daddy is sucking Dad’s cock right now.’ “

Reid fell into another fit of laughter, tears starting to fall out of his eyes.  Luke shook his head and began to pull his pants back up when Reid, still laughing, stopped him.

“No! No, I need to taste you Luke. Just, let me finish. We were close anyhow.”

“Reid, I just scared our child so she wouldn’t see us having oral sex. I’m not hard anymore.” Luke forced his pants out of Reid’s grip and pulled them up on his hips. He walked away from Reid and opened the garage door, turning around before going through it.

“Glad you liked the present,” Luke said flatly and left, leaving Reid alone in the cold garage laughing.

An hour later the three of them were on their way to the Farm. Luke had calmed down MacKenzie, telling her that they found the rat and let it go outside of their house. What he hadn’t done was talk to Reid after what had happened. Luke wasn’t mad per se, and every time he looked at Reid he didn’t see anger on his face. But Luke was stubborn and he wasn’t going to give in first.

“But if Santa gave you a car then why don’t you want to drive it around?” Luke snapped out of thoughts, realizing Reid and MacKenzie were having a conversation.

“Because it’s not the type of car you want to be driving around during the winter.”

“Why?”

“Because it’s not equipped with parts to make it possible to drive in snow.”

“Like what?”

“Like tires.”

“And?”

“Well, that’s about it Mac.”

“Sooo,” MacKenzie started, thinking through what Reid had just said, “the reason we’re not in the other car is because the car doesn’t have tires.”

Reid and Luke snorted at the same time. They glanced at each other quickly and returned their attention back on the road.

“Yes Strawberry. The car doesn’t have the tires it needs to drive in this type of weather.”

“Oh.” MacKenzie returned to her doll, finding the conversation about cars and tires boring. They pulled into the long dirt driveway, having to stop several feet away as a bunch of cars were already parked there. When Luke unhooked the seatbelt from around MacKenzie she raced off, forgetting her dads.

“Are you still mad?” Reid leaned against the door, holding onto Luke’s arm before he could chase after MacKenzie.

“Reid, I was never mad.”

“Really? Cause to me it look like you were mad.”

“We almost got caught by our daughter having sex.”

“You do realize we’ll have to tell her about sex, right?”

“Not when she’s five!”

“Luke, she didn’t catch us.”

“But she almost-” Luke began before Reid interrupted him.

“She didn’t catch us. Stop worrying about it. We should be lucky that she doesn’t hear us at night.”

Luke groaned. “Reid.”

“Look,” Reid started, taking Luke’s hands, “she didn’t see anything. She doesn’t hear anything at night. We’re good. Stop worrying about things that hasn’t happened yet. Now let’s go in there and eat Emma’s food.”

“It’s all about the food for you, isn’t it?”

“It’s the only reason I’m here.” Luke slapped Reid’s arm and the two walked towards the house, hand in hand. They entered the kitchen and was greeted by Emma, cooking as usual.

“Emma, my angel. Why are you in here slaving away alone?” Reid wrapped his arms around the woman and gave her a kiss on the cheek. He had finally gotten used to everyone in Luke’s family, but Emma was one of the few he loved from the beginning.

“Reid, you’ve been with my grandson for almost a decade now. I know when you’re trying to butter me up.”

“Is it working?” Reid wiggled his eyebrows and Emma giggled.

“There hasn’t been a time when it didn’t.” She pulled the spoon from the pot she was stirring and offered it to Reid and he took it, sighing in delight after he tasted it.

“I’m pretty sure this is what heaven tastes like.”

“Okay, well if you’re finished having a come to religion moment with the food,” Luke said, “I’m going to go see my parents. MacKenzie didn’t give you too much trouble when she ran in here did she Grandma?”

“Oh heavens no. She told me about that doll of hers she’s carrying around ran into the living room.” Emma smacked Reid on the knuckles hard, wanting him to stop snacking in her pots.

“Great. Reid, go get the presents.”

“Where are they?” Reid continued, Emma finally relenting and letting him get another taste of the food.

“Didn’t you put them in the car?”

“I thought you put them in the car.”

“Reid!”

“Mac is already here, surely being fawned over by everyone. We can just go back and get them right quick. If anyone asks Emma will tell them where we are.”

“Yes Luke. Go back and get the gifts. No one is going to mind waiting until you two come back. They’ve already opened everything underneath the tree anyway.” Emma returned to her cooking, giving up on trying to stop Reid.

“Fine. Let’s go Reid.” Luke pulled a reluctant Reid through the door and the two made their way back to the car. They drove home quickly and parked next to the Aston Martin. They got out and right before Luke entered into the house Reid called out to him, stopping him.

“Luke, I have the gifts.”

“What?” Luke gave Reid a confused look and Reid chuckled.

“I have the gifts. They’re in the trunk of the car.”

“What? Why did we come back here then?” Luke narrowed his eyes and shook his head, stomping back to the car. Before he made it Reid intercepted him and spun him around where they were next to the Aston Martin.

“I wanted sex in my new car. I’m getting sex in my new car.” Reid smiled sexily, or at least tried, wanting Luke to get on board.

“You did this all for sex? I can’t believe you.” Luke started to pull away but Reid wouldn’t let him, forcefully bringing him close, their bodies lining up perfectly. Reid attacked Luke’s mouth with his own, feeling Luke’s reluctance melt away. He opened the car door and slid in, making sure to keep a hold on Luke’s hand.

“Joining me Mr. Snyder?”

Luke stared at Reid for a while, and then carefully got in the car, lying on top of his husband.

“That’s Mr. Snyder-Oliver to you.”

Reid and Luke finally made it back to the Farm an hour later.
