gruesome thoughts

I love the swimming pool scene in Poltergeist. "You moved the cemetery but you left the bodies, didn't ya? You s-o-b. You left the bodies and you only moved the headstones. You only moved the headstones! Lies. Lies!!"

Rereading Helter Skelter. I think I first read it when I was in my 'teens. I understand it much better now and did a little bit of ( Read more... )

Ha ha...holloweeniness :D

I actually asm very interested in serial killers too, I have some books about them, the big ones like Bundy and shit.

I have noticed that a few of the most notorious killers have been from WI. Is there a theory as to why that is? or is it just plain coincidence?? I was just wondering if anyone has actually done any research to try to find reasoning to the WI killer curse. Maybe it's the water??

Do you know what the murder capital of the US is?? my friend told me it was Chicago last night.

One of my favourite books is The Encyclopedia of Mass Murders. We have a really great used book store here and I'll pick up cheap paperbacks in the book bin at the hospital and take them there to trade for some really good ones.

I was pretty sure about this one but had to doublecheck in case something had changed. Nope, it's still Washington, DC.

The country with the highest murder rate per capita is Columbia. Hmmm... wonder why??

Other than Ed Gein, who else is from Wisconsin?

Wow....Washington DC?? I thought that would be one of the lowest because of the president living there, you'd think the people would be intimideated or something. Guess not 'ey. Maybe I should move to Honolulu, where they have the least amount of murders.

I can't remember for sure what the names of the other muderers from WI are, besides Dahmer and Gein. I know there are at least a few more because a freind of mine was telling me about it months ago. I should look that up.

Dahmer!! ARG!!! I should be shot for forgetting that one. He's sort of my favourite... I guess it's that lost little boy look that he always had. Dahmer didn't look like a serial killer and he honestly seemed to be remorseful for his crimes. I felt sorry for him, in a way.

DC has a high homeless rate and a HUGE drug problem. Surprising, eh? What are your views on the gun laws in the US?

Wow, I just looked up the gun laws on a few of the biggest states here in the US and most of them don't require permits for any gun!! I can't believe that!! Here in WI, they require nothing....I can walk up in some place and buy a gun without a permit or criminal check AND I don't have to register it. I did look up DC and they actually have to have a permit for every type of firearm, they have to be registered and they have age laws ( ... )
