We just had an earthquake. Seriously. Like, a house-shaking, tea-spilling, stuff-sorta-falling-off-shelves earthquake. It only lasted a few seconds, but it was pretty insane. Apparently, it was a 4.7 and was about 80km east of here. Reports are coming in from all over the UK. We responded by running outside and staring in wonder before we found someone else to confirm that we hadn't gone entirely crazy. It's been an hour now, and we've still got live-wire nerves. Wow, wow, wow.
