Sometimes parts of bandom really disgust me. Like, I am actually ashamed to be connected to large sections of the fandom right now. I have two gripes, both connected, and both of them make me really angry and saddened

Nodding is a totally acceptable participation to everyone's reactions to this whole thing. It'd normally be mine too, except the whole thing just wound me up so much it was either rant in LJ or to my flatmate who doesn't even know who PWentz is and so wouldn't care at all.

It's better (and makes more sense, I think) than my colleague who a) thinks you're dating Gabe Saporta, b) think's Beck is dating a guy called Spencer, and c) thought I was pregnant with Brendon's baby. THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU READ IMS AND FB OVER PEOPLES SHOULDERS AND MISHEAR A CONVERSATION.
