Time for a lighter entry. I'd like to get
this shirt. And not because it could be dirty, either. :P I'm not a vegetarian, but I can't eat pigs. I always picture Porky Pig of Looney Tunes saying "Th-Th-That's All Folks!" when I look at bacon or pork chops. Then there's the whole "filthy animal" thing that's been in the swine's history for centuries. John Travolta and Samuel L. Jackson have a set of dialog on the religious implications of eating bacon in Pulp Fiction (which I've just seen for the first time), so maybe that's what started these thoughts. Sure, pigs roll in mud, but I bet they're butchered/prepared in the same manner that cows and other animals are. They're probably force-fed hormones and stored in atrocious conditions like other livestock, too. Okay, I didn't mean to turn this into an animal rights essay, so I'll stop right there. Side note: my friend says she's a vegetarian not because she loves animals, but because she hates plants. Heh.
Since I promised a lighter entry, I'd also like to get
this shirt. My sister didn't get it the first time I showed it to her. She even tried saying it aloud, but to no avail. I guess I haven't corrupted her enough yet. I'll work on that. Okay, well "Th-Th-That's All Folks!"
