Re: Trina's parentage. I think it's a potential continuity error, as in S1 she refers to Aaron as "Dad" and Lynn as "stepmom" and even points out to Logan "your mom, not mine." Or of course, Aaron and wife No 1 could have adopted Trina and then divorced or what not and Lynn and Aaron got married. The whole Trina=prom baby thing annoys me for that reason: it screws up the continuity unless there is fanwank.

It just seems strange to me that her former foster-mom who seems aware of Trina's life over that past 25 years said that her adoptive mother just committed suicide.

The "stepmom" thing could be indicative of the estrangement between the two. If Lynn always made a point of not being her real mother...

Of course, that is a bit of fanwank.

I wonder how aware the foster-mother was. She could have thought that Lynn was the adoptive mother when it was Aaron's first wife instead. I don't have a hard time buying that. I'm assuming that Trina was adopted before he was famous, right? I read it as Aaron was married to a woman before he was famous, they adopted this child, they split, he became famous and married Lynn(or maybe vice-versa) and she became the stepmother. I can see a foster parent from 25 years ago getting the mothers confused. Maybe that's fanwanking, but I think it's very understandable when you're talking about families like that. I know firsthand-my sister is in that exact scenario-and it can be quite confusing to an outsider.

What intrigued me was that we have found out that Lynne was Trina's adoptive mother not as previously implied her stepmother. This makes it a bit terrible that Lynne left nothing to Trina in her will, it makes it seem that her adoptive mother didn't actually care for her.

The way I see it, Aaron adopted her when she was still a baby (I can totally see him doing it for image and publicity) and later got married to Lynn, and had Logan. After a couple of years with just Aaron, of course she would have looked at Lynn as a stepmom.

Now a funny thing here is that the Weevil/Logan alliance will have to remain a secret in order for them to have the best chance to find out what really happened on the bridge.

Not too sure I take the exchange of this ep as them all of a sudden agreeing to work together. They seemed to go WAY too far with that fight for it just to be keeping up appearances...

Would it be as understandable if she was angry about finding "comfort" after the breakup with unknown mystery man who left her pregnant and alone.Ah, ( ... )

As far as Logan and Weevil, I do think that they have agreed to work together, though I think you are right in suggesting that the fight was more than just for show.

I think that the fight was not only to keep up appearances, but also the final release of tension and anger between them.

All of their battles before had been indirect or through/with proxies. This was finally personal.

I know it sounds like I am shipping them, I'm not, but I do think that the physical confrontation between the two of them alone was necessary for them to get over past wrongs and "pound out" an alliance.

No I totally see what you're saying. I do think that this was the fial release of tension and anger between them, but I'm not too sure the next time we see them they are going to be so willing to work with each other right off. Or maybe I should rephrase that. I don't think Logan will be so quick to actually work with him. I'd think Weevil would have to do some convincing on his part. But I could be totally wrong.

Love the 'pound out an alliance' thought though!
