So... It seems I've been away from my duties in the capital a...bit longer than expected, and I've been neglecting things due to preferring the comforts of my hometown. However, at the irritable ranting concerned urging of a family member, it seems it's time I return and tackle head on everything I said I was going to do, instead of..."running back to hide behind mommy and daddy with my tail between my legs because the other kids are mean", as it was referred to. Having a war veteran for a grandfather can have its complications at times. But I plan to leave early tomorrow morning to make the long trek back. My brother, Wataru, will be making the trip with me, it seems, since he insists he has business in Stella. Not sure if I believe him or not, as half the things he tells me are only half-truths, plus I'm wondering why an Eastern border guard would need to travel all the way out west. He's not even that high in rank. Don't know why Ojii-san isn't yelling at him to go back to his post also... But I suppose it'll be good to still have a bit of family still around for while longer, if nothing else. I know I'm going to miss them as soon as I leave again.
