Come and see The Organgrinders!!!
So....here's the story.... My Bluesman has a new project called The Organgrinders. :) See the icon there?? Those monkeys represent each member of the band....I made them for the guys. Pretty cool, eh? ;)
Anyway....
9 May is a BIG day for the band!!!! And if you are in the Milwaukee area, (say a 4 hour radius??,) then you need to come out and see them. They will be competing in the Grafton Blues Association Challenge. The band will be up against 8 other groups, and whoever comes out on top at the end of the evening will get to go to Memphis next year to compete at the International Blues Challenge. Now, there is a $10 cover charge, but it is for 9 blues bands!! That's a really good price!!! The whole night starts at 5p, but The Organgrinders don't start until 755p. Each band will be performing a 25 minute set, with 10 minutes breaks between bands. It should be a rockin' night!! Oh...and did I mention I'll be there as an Organgrinder groupie??? :D Yes, it is a very big night, indeed!!!
