I just finished my seconds revisions of my building's response to the Division of Housing and Community Renewal's (DHCR) decision to side with my landlord's Major Capital Improvement (MCI) Rent Increase. Yeah, they're trying to raise our rent based off of capital improvements to the building that we didn't want or aren't legitimate. The editing suuuuuuucked, man. Six pages of shitty, shitty sentence structure and craptastic grammar. And the anger and sarcasm aren't going to make the DHCR like us. The woman who wrote it, of course, took great offense and didn't want to accept any of my changes until I pointed out that the Brooklyn Borough President is MARTY Markowitz, not MARY. Sheesh.
I also fucking love it when people derisively trot out another's higher education. Yes, clearly I earned my MS so I could make you feel bad about yourself. That was my whole plan! This revision is all just an elaborate ruse. I moved into this building 2.5 years ago, endeared myself to the residents, gained access to the Tenants Committee, and staged an MCI all so I could DESTROY YOUR SOUL WITH WRITING AND WORDS AND SCARY, SCARY ENGLISH!!! I win!!!!!
