We didn't get to ride roller coasters yesterday... BOO! As it turns out, Six Flaggs Great Adventure closes down after Labor Day during the week when the kids are in school-- which, of course, we thought was the perfect time to go. Duh. Um, so, this is odd, but we went to the American Natural History Museum instead. I learned about Mars and gemstones, and African mammals and New York state birds... By god it was fascinating. *wink*
Today I went to the NYU research library and learned about preservation techniques. Not so exciting. Maybe in I-Max format I could have hung in there. The damn teacher kept us 15 minutes late and I realized I was the only one with my pants of fire to leave. I'm sorry, I'm so sorry librarians of the world. I know what you do is important and the world is a better place for your efforts, but *yaaaaaaaawn" I just don't *zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz*
