State bill would limit procreation assistance

While I'm the first to think wishfully of requiring all potential parents to pass muster prior to giving birth, adopting, or beaming down their very own child, I am rational enough to know it's not possible. That is freakish and frightening and oh dear god may it not pass. Indiana is a funny place... almost southern, almost midwestern.... I'll be watching!

Ah, Indiana. This'll be fun to watch.

I'm not as sure about worry over 'who governs the governors'. We manage to manage who gets to be a pilot and who gets a driver's license, and nobody says the restrictions on who can be a parent have to be especially stringent. A lack of a few of the nastier genetic diseases plus getting through a course on parenting (which one could take multiple times) would go a long way.
