State bill would limit procreation assistance While I'm the first to think wishfully of requiring all potential parents to pass muster prior to giving birth, adopting, or beaming down their very own child, I am rational enough to know it's not possible. Who governs the govenors? I think the past few years have proved that the word "values" means very different things to various people in this country. Especially given that this bill is specifically directed against gays and unmarried folk. See, personally, I think anyone who is phobic and uses religion to force their own views on other people shouldn't ever get to be a parent, so why don't I get to decide for them?
I don't actually think this bill has a hope in hell of passing, but the way things are going, you just never know.
