[Phone.]
[So guys. Have a nice weekend? Been feeling a little strange lately? Have no clue why a few days ago you were shouting at your mailbox or attacking your neighbors?
Luke has some answers for you.]
I understand that quite a few of you were affected by some sort of gas
You see, back home the Professor and I were investigating a mysterious box that was rumored to kill whoever tried to open it. Our search led us to a ghost town called Folsense, and upon arriving we fell victim to some sort of gas that made us believe that the residents of Folsense were still around and the town was just as busy as it was fifty years ago. But, what really happened was that there was some sort of gold mine located in the town, and the miners digging there accidentally caused the spread of some sort of gas that caused all sorts of hallucinations. These hallucinations became so bad that it caused most of the residents to get sick or move away.
Apparently, when we were getting things back from the town, the town decided to give back a sample of that gas in the form of a puzzle bottle - ah, puzzle bottles are pretty self-explanatory. You open them to find a puzzle inside, but instead I was struck by some of that gas. And it seems I exposed a few other people as well.
But, no matter what state of mind I was in, there’s no excuse for causing that much trouble. So please, if anyone was attacked or hurt because of the gas, I was the one to blame for it.
If there’s anything I can do to make up for it…well, I suppose there’s not much I can to make for something like that, can I? Still…I’d like to try…
…I’m sorry, everyone.
[As far as the family’s concerned, Luke’s left without so much of a word or plans to be back anytime soon. Where did he go? Well…]
[Action!]
[Curiously enough, Luke doesn’t go to his usual park hangout spot. Instead, he’s sitting near the Elementary school’s playground, hugging his knees and thinking about all that’s happened, over and over.
What should I do, Professor.]
