Day 06: A song that reminds you of somewhere
This song reminds me of my father's old apartment in Arlington, Virginia. I miss it there... I used to hear this song often when he would listen to delila on the radio in the evenings. I would look out across the golf field across the way, see the twinkling lights of "Skyline Mall" and it's big tower with the three red ring-lights. I often wished I could fly off that balcony. I even have had dreams of jumping off and floating away... I used to pray to be Tails... so I could fly away. Later in life, I started to ask to be anything with wings so I could fly. I've always wanted to fly.
I will never forget the time this song came on while I was playing Pilot Wings. I loved that game so much... and to fly around with those wings. I took so many photos of the marry-go-round in that one level.
But even though I dream of flying... I always find myself back on the ground again.
