this one i don't remember totally completely
so slurp up the fragments as best you can, my laddies

birthday party, my house
fair amount of friends there
school friends, mostly and probably
my house is VERY weirdly shaped
in fact it is sort of one big room
with a staircase going up to it, from somewhere
so there's like this wall/separator
and then you go around it and there's this opening
in the floor, that you can descend down into
by way of this random staircase

i'm not generally very enthusiastic
because i don't think it is going to work
(do these large gatherings ever work?)
and i think there is a pool involved

at some point, after milling around/talking
or sort of sensing people and their chitchat
i have to go to the doctor

so i find my way to the doctor
the way is crowded although i'm not sure how i get there
and it is a bit awkward as i am leaving my guests
then i see my favorite soph l's
and feel silly for...not remembering...saying,
oh i forgot you have the same doctor as me!

they look very awkward
so we are just awkward

then sometime i'm back at the party
on a counter somewhere in the room
there is one of those big magnet displays,
like a big round column thing that turns around
and the magnets stick to it
like in a store

so all the magnets are like yearbook photos
and we (?anonymous friends and i) are turning it
around and looking at the photos

trying to find a magnet of someone
we actually know and/or care about
