Yesterday was hotter than they forecast, and today will be the same. I just know it will. I've had both fans going all night - ceiling and upright oscillating - and although they do help, I suspect I can feel the heat generated by their motors. That's how much I dislike this weather. (I'm taken by flights of fantasy and horror.) And I'm always amazed for the first five seconds after getting out of a cool shower to find that my towel's suddenly warmer than my body temperature. As if it had been warming on a heated towel rail the whole time.
It's not even that hot. Well, it is, but it doesn't really warrant double-fannage. It's not heatwave hot.
But close.
