Huge Ackman went to primary school in the suburb next to mine and I only found this out watching Leno - ie, an American show. Cwazy. Someone else famous went to his primary school. Who was it now? Enh. Ho-hum. I forget.
Oh, Hugh also went to my brother's school for high school. Well, whaddaya know? That was the 'brother school' to my (all-girls') school less than a kilometre up the road. I wonder if I ever met him. We're the same age, but he must've repeated, or - less likely - been a year ahead, because he wasn't school captain in 'my' year. (I just read that his charisma showed early in that he was made school captain.) In my year it was Ed S. He was a very nice lad indeed.
Elle MacPherson also went to school in the suburb next to mine, but this time in the other direction. My cousin went to school with Cate Blanchett. Georgie Parker was in my sister's year at high school and Cindy Pan was at our school too, but they're only famous on Aussie television, those two. Not international ☆s. There should totally be an HTML/ACSII code for a star.

ETA:
I'm a bit late to the party but I just read
this article about Hugh Jackman's first crushes and I totally know (knew) who Martine Creswell and Sarah Dowsett are. Well, well, well. He certainly kept it local. Who knew they were walking around all those years with Hugh Jackman DNA about their persons?
I love this:
DO YOU KNOW MARTINE CRESWELL, SARAH DOWSETT OR SCOTT WHITEHEAD? Call us in confidence on (02) 9288 3413, tell us via the feedback form below and email pictures to webphoto@dailytelegraph.com.au or text them to 0432 752 459.
Even though the article's dated two months ago, I'm vaguely tempted to contact the Tele and tell them, Yes, I do know Martine and Sarah, and if Scott is Sally's twin brother, which I think he probably isn't, then I know (of) him too. And then I'd never say another word about them. Woo, yeah. Power, power. OK, that's beyond a dud idea, but I think I must be starved of merrymaking opportunities. I need to think of something in the public domain that's FUN to do - but that's not also ****-ish. But what?
