I worry for Aithusa I mean look how Morgana treated her let snakes.
I think Uther is sadly missed I mean that man knew how to do executions in style - fire, chopping heads off, drowning, random massacres. Gwen's hanging idea is just boring.
I do wonder what happened to her braclet. Perhaps one day it will reappear on the wrist of a random magic person.
Gaius's job title should really be grim reaper.
Merlin seems to have amensia with his magic. It was old years ago and seems to be getting worse. He should see somone about that. Someone not Gaius or a prophetic Druid. Or the dragon. Merlin is screwed for good advice.
I was shippig Gwaine/Alien a lto this episode. It wasn't even subtext. It was just RIGHT THERE. Their chemistry was amazing. I hope to see more.
And it seems the show wants to up its WTF? quota. I fully expect daleks at some point.
Mordred is interesting. I hope he stays itneresting rather than slips into carciature the way everyone else has. And I want him and Melrin ot have telepathic conversations.
I wonder of Morgana was looking for a literal key and that's where the problems started.
Albion grows and shrinks with the tide.Only explaination of its geography.
I thought Gwen's plan was rubbish since what if Sefa's Dad had not appeared to save her? Would Gwen have hung her anyway? Where was plan B? Or as you say where were the flaws in Gwen's queenlyness?
Camelot's knight and guard recruitment pokicy still ahs serious issues. Do they not even check CVs? Or eyesight?
I like to think Gwen just uses Arthur's desk just because. And Leon is now my only hope for adulterer!Gwen (Gwaine has an alien, Elyan is her brother and Percival never speaks enough lines to woo a lady).
Yeah I am nto sure what Gwen meant to accomplish with her plan. Also she seemed shocked that Sefa's Dad would try and rescue her at night.I think she was hoping he would suddenly appear just as the noose was around Sefa's neck or something equally dramatic. Oh Gwen. That only worked for Uther.
I feel like Arthur hasn't grasped the whole - do you know why people wanted to kill you and your father and destroy Camelot thing. It might be due to magic being outlawed.
I was disappointed at Arthur and Merlin's choice of disguise.
Hee Gwaine and Google having Alf as a child. Nice.
I like to think Gwaine will go back to the caves in a later episode so we can have a touching reunion between he and Google.
Morgana I think needs sedatives. It can only help.
I headdesked a bit at the whole Arthur's bane is hiself. But then Merlin's bane is also himself so maybe that's why.
I do not get Arthur's logic. He knights anyone who vaguely saves his life once or who swings a sword once even someone he should know has magic, he marries a serving girl and makes her queen but his best friend who has saved his life several times and Arthur knows it is just a servant still. It makes no sense at all.
As I said before Camelot's knight recruitment isn't very probing. I don't think they even bother to check if anyone has magic. Or can see things happening.
I thought the pudding was spotted dick. Could be wrong though.
I always think the first two episodes of a series are decent but I do not hold hope that this level of mostly non-suckage will continue.
"I worry for Aithusa I mean look how Morgana treated her let snakes. Can you imagine if the RSPCA ever got in there? I think she's violating about ten different animal crulty laws.
Gwen's hanging idea is just boring. I know! Show some creativity Gwen! Morgana's got heads on spikes! That's think outside the box.
And it seems the show wants to up its WTF? quota. I fully expect daleks at some point. I think there's definitely potential for a cross over. Maybe in the backgrounnd of a scene, barely noticable, we could see Leon running away from some Daleks.
And I want him and Melrin ot have telepathic conversations I know! I was a little disappointed they didn't do their telepathic talking. Especially when they were captured and couldn't talk in front of everyone else. Unless they've lost their connection now. Maybe it's like a dodgy phone signal, they've got to be in the right place.
Camelot's knight and guard recruitment pokicy still ahs serious issues. Do they not even check CVs? Or eyesight? As there had been peace in Camelot for so long, you'd think they'd be able to be a bit more picky about the selection process wouldn't you?

And Leon is now my only hope for adulterer!Gwen (Gwaine has an alien, Elyan is her brother and Percival never speaks enough lines to woo a lady). I think Leon is our only hope! Bless him though, I think he just likes to go spend time in the armoury. I think we're going to see the show out with Gwen being a doting Stepford wife.
I like to think Gwaine will go back to the caves in a later episode so we can have a touching reunion between he and Google. Complete with string quartet, sunlight bursting though the rocks, bluebirds circling round their heads.
Yeah, I would quite like a deeper explanation of why Merlin is still only a servant. Really any explanation, even how unlikely, just as long as we get one. At the moment I'm assuming it's because he feels most comfortable with Merlin, more than anyone, and if he put him in a different job then he wouldn't see him every hour of the day. That's the only reason I can think of. Nothing else makes sense.
