True Blood finals are always a little slow, I find the second last episode is where everything goes down, and the last is spent setting up the next season. I have no idea what they’re doing next season; they've changed so much this season. I hope their good changes, because a lot of the ones they've made have been bad. I hope the show gets a major reboot next season and goes back to season 1 goodness.
Vampires: How on earth did Marnie manage to tie up Eric and Bill, or is she still meant to have Antonia’s abilities? Eric and Bill seems quite relaxed being up there with neither calling their progeny, unless it's as Eric said they didn't want to endanger them. I liked he's "We're crispy up here" line. The moment Adele said it was OK to be alone, I just knew Sookie would pick neither of them. I thought the scene itself was cliché, like we haven't seen the "I don't want you, but I don't want you either" scene 100 times before. I prefer her picking no one, than picking Bill, though what the fuck was all that, will Bill forgive her?! BS will kill this show.
I wonder if we'll see Eric and Bill working more together next season. Glad Nan is gone, in Eric's words, What a bitch.
I thought Pam was pretty spot on with her rant. Pam always says what the viewers are thinking (Sookie's stupid name, and how things are so fucking lame). I'm glad Ginger didn't die on the show like in the books, I love little moments with her. That's how it should be with all the other characters on the show (Arlene, Terry, Andy, ect), they should stick little touching moments of them, rather than give them a whole storyline and completely ruin their characters.
I'm on the Jason/Jessica train again, it was hot! At least Jason did the right thing and told Hoyt. OMG STEAVE NEWLIN! I've missed you. I wonder how being a vampire has changed him.
Witches: After all that Marnie went away pretty damn easily I thought. I'm sure we all Jesus's death coming, it wasn't even sad, but I did think it was sad when he came to speak to Lafayette afterwards. I like Holly, but please don't give her an entire storyline and make me hate her like they've done with characters I use to love and adore.
Weres/Shapeshifters: Nothing worth me mentioning.
Humans: I wonder where their going with Terry's new storyline for next season, nice seeing Scott Foley (who I always get confused with Scott Speedman, they both were in Felicity, however Foley was married to Jeniffer Garner before she left him for Michael Vartan, who she left for Ben Afflect). I was a little surprised that Rene was there to warn Arlene, which I assume is about Terry's friend, I thought he's do something worse. I loved everyone’s costumes.
I hope they would, and they did. THEY KILLED TARA! Thank god! She's been a useless character for a few seasons now. I don't like how it all went down though. In the book it was self defense (Sookie grabbed her own shot gun and shot her while she was distracted, where as Sookie has outright killed Debbie when she been disarmed). Lafayette is at Sookie's so he must have heard, and Eric is at Bills, so they could have heard Sookie's screaming.
Next Season Potential Stories: I have no idea what is going to happen to the main characters on the show, which is just sad, and makes no one care. At least it'll be an easy wait between seasons. Terry's friend turning up says nothing about what is going to happen, so that isn't a cliffhanger. They should have maybe made it so Tara is potentially alive, but she's dead, what's more to tell. I'm curious about Steave, but not enough to want season 5 tomorrow. This show needs to work on it's cliff hangers, the only good one has been season 1 when we didn't know who was in the car. Oh almost forgot RUSSELL!
I've become addicted to Suits and watched the season final also, now that was a good cliffhanger!
