I'm home from school today because it's snowing! I couldn't really justify driving all the way into and out of Boston in this weather; they're saying it's snowing about an inch or more per hour, and late morning will be worse that it was earlier. I love New England weather. A couple days ago it was snowy and I was using 4 wheel drive to get up and down my street, and today it was 65 and I had the window open in the living room. I love it.

I finished the first draft of my psych paper. Eleven pages in less than 24 hours. Whew! So glad it's done. Even though it's not. But it's all on paper, all I have to do is revise it, so it's a lot less scary now ( Read more... )

Happy thoughts for today.....

-Waking up to the beautiful light reflecting off the snow-covered hill out my window.
-One of the kids at work shouting "Hi Erica!!" from a considerable distance as I came in to work.
-One of the teachers at work reading one of my favorite stories, Tikki-tikki-tembo, to the kids as we got their lunch ready.

I don't like getting up early in the morning when it's 25 degrees outside and there's frost on the ground. Now I'm cranky.

On the other hand, my day ends at noon today....yay!
