. . .it'a cold cruel world.
Not just "the cute one." Oh no! He's also domestic. What more could a girl want? Of course you want his trading card!
No, of course I'm not a packrat; this stuff is all highly useful--particularly the propaganda about pet abandonment. All the fabulously ridiculous and bizarre treasures I rediscovered when cleaning my room. Although The Good Life sticker really isn't ridiculous, but simply fabulous, and I believe it needs to find a nice permanent home on the laptop. Super! Now I just need to figure out what to do with the old Highlanders pin I lifted from the band room back in high school. (Ah, the memories. . .)
Just returned from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at the drive-in. I know, we were going to hold out for the I-Max, but Rachel and I caved in and decided seeing it at the drive-in was too good too miss, and that multiple viewings in different conditions were in order; so the I-Max will come later. Next trip to Pittsburgh.
Speaking of which, the visit with Megan and Dan was marvelous! Marvelous! Frolicked around Pittsburgh, sneaking into Carnegie Natural History Museum, driving in endless circles to all the far reaches of Pittsburgh, getting soaked and riding up the Incline during a thunderstorm, then trying to find Steph on the North Side (where, apparently, each street has an identical twin with the same name.) Frequent stops for eating and coffee drinking. (I think I am now obsessed with the bubble drinks they've got at Lulu's--lychee fruit freeze!) It was just great chilling with those kids. So much silliness. I said it a million times yesterday, and I'll say in again: I can't believe Megan's not going to be there this coming semester. ::Sniffle::
And now I think it is off to bed.
