[In his Care] Chapter 85 ~part 3/3

Feb 23, 2012 14:34

The first thing Kame saw the next morning as he opened his eyes was Jin’s, studying him.

Kame blinked, taking in the picture of Jin hovering above him.

“Morning.” his cellmate murmured. “Breakfast?”

Sending the cell door a glance Kame found it already open. He turned back to Jin again, giving him a nod and expecting Jin to move and give him room to get up, but instead Jin moved in, lips touching his lightly for a while before Jin moved away then, letting him get up.

Jin was in a better mood that morning, resembling the good mood Jin had been in when Kame had left that morning in Korea. Kame was not going to spoil it this time and if Jin would try to run off and leave him, he would go right after Jin once he was released. Silently Kame hoped that this time even if he tried to leave Jin would stop him. He now knew he was more to Jin than a simple, and consistent, one-night stand or a boy toy, but he still wondered what his future with Jin was going to be like. He was pretty sure Jin wanted some sort of a future with him, but what kind of a future he didn’t know. For as long as they were in prison, Kame guessed he would have to play the boy toy to save Jin’s and the other Johnnys’ reputations, but on the outside…

Akanishi Jin wasn’t the dating type. He had never been. Jin had been on the run from himself when agreeing to date Kame. Maybe they would have something of a more open or loose relationship from now on that wouldn’t bind Jin too much, but enough for Kame to be someone special to Jin.

Kame shook those thoughts out of his head as he followed Jin from a safe distance.

“Morning~” Jin yawned as they made it into the dining hall and as the other Johnnys turned to more or less greet the leader, Kame added a little more space between him and Jin. He wasn’t sure what last night had changed. Jin had hardly punished him, but it didn’t mean he was allowed to hang out with any of them again, at least not in public. “Kame-chan, get me some breakfast too!”

Kame stopped where he had been heading for the breakfast line, surprised to see Jin stroll towards his table instead to join the rest of the gang. He had brought Jin breakfast before, but the request was still unexpected considering he hadn’t, at least not yet, been declared Jin’s boy toy. Either way, Kame simply obeyed, making his way a little doubtfully towards the AT-TUN table with both his and Jin’s breakfast, setting the tray down in front of Jin.

“Thanks!” Jin replied, gaze travelling up Kame’s form still standing there staring at the empty seat next to Jin. “Gonna sit down or not?”

Not would probably have been the wise decision, but Kame slowly sat down much to the amusement of the other gang members.

“Oh god, it’s like a countdown.” Koki chuckled.

“A-HA! Told you so, the second night!” several Kanjani8 members shouted excitedly, some of them having won their bet, and the gang gathered around a table behind AT-TUN instead of their usual one.

“The next time it’ll be the first night!” Ryo said, being one of the losers of their bet as the Osaka gangster had been convinced Jin would jump Kame’s bones upon first sight hardly waiting till the first nightfall.

“We’re not getting caught a third time.” Ueda muttered.

It felt as if the dining hall instantly grew louder, as mumbles about what was going on around AT-TUN’s table spread over the entire hall. The topic was the return of the infamous boy toy.

“Well, well, well… Look who we have here, sitting with AT-TUN again.” Kame recognized that voice and so he didn’t turn to face Yamapi, who was more focused on Jin anyway. “You took him back again. He must’ve been one hell of a boy toy to make a comeback twice to your cell.”

“See that ring? That’s the mark. He’s Akanishi’s infamous boy toy. Heard the first time he put up a fight, but surrendered on the third night. Seeing as they are together now, he must’ve surrendered faster this time around.”

“I heard he double-crossed Akanishi.”

“Figures Akanishi’d make him his boy toy again. That ought to make it clear to him who screws with who - I bet Akanishi taught him that last night.”

Comments like that together with laughter were heard practically everywhere in the hall, inspired by those of the Johnnys’.

The first time around, Kame would’ve felt stung and humiliated by those words, but this time he let them slide. This was the result he had been hoping for after all. The whole prison seemed to consider him Jin’s boy toy, which was making Jin and the gang rise in the eyes of the other prisoners.

Yamapi crouched down next to Kame. “Kame-chan, is it true what I hear? I would’ve thought you had more of a backbone than to ever lower yourself to such a position again.”

Kame forced himself to meet Yamapi’s eyes. “I didn’t have anything else to offer, did I?” he replied simply, aware of the eyes and ears on him, and he turned back to his food. Figures Yamapi would want to get on his case too, but this time Kame would allow them all the fun on his expense.

“Is that what you imagined last night?” Jin asked and Kame turned to him. “That if I slept with you it’d mean you were hired?”

Kame hesitated in answering, still aware they were at the centre of attention and anything he would say to deny that would reflect back on Jin. “Don’t you know me better than that by now?” he answered instead, voice low. “I’ll carry the title of your boy toy, but don’t make the mistake in thinking I’ll ever identify with it again or that what I do with you in bed is some sort of a duty of mine. You’re a powerful leader. You’re only expected to have a boy toy and I won’t allow that place to be filled by anyone else.” He removed his gaze from Jin as he added, “I would wish that even if everyone else saw me as a boy toy and treated me as one, you didn’t.”

There was a short silence that was broken by the sound of Jin chuckling next to him and Kame told himself once more to just let it slide and not take any offence.

“My infamous boy toy, eh?” Jin said, laughter still in his voice and Kame forced himself to keep his face expressionless, but doubted he was doing such a good job with it. “This is starting to seem more and more like a relationship to me.”

The word ‘relationship’ set in motion a new wave of murmurs in the otherwise quiet dining hall.

Jin got up from his side, resting his head onto Kame’s shoulder and spoke in a voice louder than what would’ve been necessary for Kame to hear from this close distance, “I wonder how long it will take for you to be known as the infamous boyfriend instead?”

The warmth of Jin’s face disappeared as the leader pulled back and left the dining hall, where an increasing amount of prisoners seemed to start believing the second option was the more likely.

Kame couldn’t believe Jin had just gone and destroyed his own reputation.

He met Yamapi’s amused eyes briefly as he stood up too, hurrying then after Jin and catching him in their cell, sitting on the lower bed.

“Jin…” Kame started.

“A boy toy is not enough.” Jin said and Kame just looked at him. “It’s not enough for me. I want more.”

“More?” Kame repeated and Jin got up. As the leader walked towards him Kame had to wonder what more a master could want.

“I want more than just your body.” Jin said, hand trailing over his chest. “I always longed for what was inside too.”

Kame seized Jin’s hand in his that had stopped on top of his heart. “You’re already inside.”

The silence that fell over them became short as Koichi suddenly popped his head into the cell.

“Sorry to break it up, but Kame-chan you have a visitor.” the re-employed guard said. “It’s Masa.”

“Take me to him.” Jin said, managing to tear his eyes off Kame.

“He asked for Kame-chan.” Koichi said.

“Yeah, but he’s getting me.” Jin replied, shooting Kame a look. “Don’t look so worried, I’ll leave him alive.”

Kame didn’t reply, as Jin slipped his hand out of his hold and Kame watched Jin go.

“Akanishi?” was the first thing the surprised detective said upon seeing Jin stepping in through the door of his office that had once been Johnny’s office. “I guess I should’ve expected this. Is this a social call or do you want a match?” Masa asked and turned to Koichi next. “Those will be necessary, don’t uncuff him.”

Koichi obeyed, reluctantly leaving the two of them alone in the room.

“I’m here to tell you that you can shove your offer you know where.” Jin said, sitting down on a chair opposite from Masa behind the big desk. “We don’t need help to get free.”

“A very well-expected response from you guys.” Masa replied. “Meaning you’re planning an escape together. It’s heart-warming to see you boys get along so well.”

“Admit it, you’re warming up to us yourself.” Jin said, taking Masa aback a bit. “And that’s exactly what I wanted to talk to you about.”

Masa gave him a curious look.

“You told me you would make sure there wasn’t a single reason for me to see Kame ever again, but in fact you arranged one when you took him with you. You knew our paths would cross again and I think you want us to be together.” Jin said. “Had I not been faithful to him this whole year and not been taken in by the tricks and seduction skills you taught him, you would’ve regretted taking him away from us. You wanted us to work it out and in the process of him helping you, you helped him.”

“Everything I did was for Kame-chan, not for you.” Masa clarified.

“You didn’t work it out with Gackt and at first you wanted Kame to have the same revenge on me as you had on Gackt. He refused and it irritated you to see him submit to me, love me despite everything I did to him.” Jin continued. “But when he turned your head around you came to need to see it work out between us, so that maybe you could see it would’ve been possible between you and Gackt too.”

Jin would’ve expected Masa to fly across and kill him right about now, but this was the first time Masa made no efforts to silence him from talking about the weakest spot and most painful one the detective carried.

“Did you figure out already? Why he’s wearing your ring, Akanishi?” Masa asked. “It wasn’t only because he loved you. It was because he wanted something to remind him all along that no matter what he would have to do, he would never lose himself on the way. He would not try to quit in the middle and he would not turn into Johnny either.”

“I will never let you talk him away from me again. You won’t be able to play me any longer.” Jin stated. “I will always be by his side.”

“No more guilt trips?”

“No.” Jin replied. “I’ve earned my right to be with him.”

Masa shot him an amused grin Jin just wanted to rip to pieces. “Well, it was fun for as long as it lasted. But I do look forward to you giving me more of a challenge again.”

“Count on it.” Jin shot back and they shared a short staring competition.

“So, have you made him your boy toy already?” Masa asked then. “I heard quite conflicting rumors about him.”

“You came here to check up on him, didn’t you?” Jin said. “You don’t need to worry. We’ve got him.”

The slightest look of relief flashed over Masa’s face upon hearing that Kame was safe.

The detective got up from his chair. “I’ll let you go back to where you belong then. But since this prison is pretty much mine now and I stand behind Kame-chan that means maybe you should consider becoming his boy toy this time. Give my love to him, will you?”

Jin sent the detective a feigned amused smile, as Masa called Koichi back into the room to pick up the prisoner and bring him back to his own section.

As Jin returned to the dining hall he could already sense the change he had started this morning. The infamous boy toy was turning into the infamous boyfriend. Kame’s humiliation was becoming his. Not that he cared. It no longer hurt him to be thought of as a fallen player and if anyone challenged him that would be the last thing they did. He would show just why he had climbed to the position on top of this prison. Though at the moment it was unclear who among the Johnnys held that position. Countless attempts had been made to claim it. They would probably break out of prison before settling that matter. Nevertheless Jin spent the rest of the day making sure no one else got to the spot that was at all of theirs grasps, returning to the cell just before the time was up.

Kame was waiting for him on the lower bed, having probably spent the majority of the day in there. He couldn’t help smiling as he pulled the cell door shut.

“Right on time as always, Akanishi-kun~”

His self-satisfied smile disappeared in an instance as Jin snapped his head towards the cell bars, seeing the grinning face of a guard on the other side.

“Tsuyoshi, you bastard! How are you here?!” Jin demanded to know, noticing then an apologetic looking Koichi next to Tsuyoshi. Jin fixed his gaze on the guard-gangster. “We'll get you for this you ungrateful son of a-”

“If you want to insult me stop dragging my mother into it.” Tsuyoshi interrupted him. “Besides, think of it like this: you have one more ally among the guards now.” Tsuyoshi winked, as Koichi dragged him away from the cursing Jin.

“I'm going to kill Miyavi, then I'm going to put Tsuyoshi back in death row!” Jin muttered as he sat down on the lower bed, hands crossed in front of his chest.

“Is there any way that I can get you to forgive Tsuyoshi?” Kame asked, feeling partly guilty for Tsuyoshi’s betrayal and for not having said anything to the gangsters about it. “He was thinking of Koichi.”

“He was thinking of himself!” Jin said. “That damn bastard, why did we ever risk our necks for his selfish ass? How is it even possible for him to walk this same prison as a guard?!”

“Well, he was on death row, so he spent quite a lot of time in the special cells where only certain guards work, so few only dared close enough to see his face. Then he kept a low profile in here, which I guess is why he was able to escape your radar too and get information on you to Johnny-” Kame stopped himself, regretting already what he had said as his cellmate looked like he would have another fit.

Kame quickly thought of a way Masa had said was useful when wanting to persuade Akanishi Jin and moved closer to Jin, slowly climbing onto the leader’s lap. “A-anyway, Masa made it happen. Please, Jin, let him off the hook. Just this one last time…”

Jin unfolded his arms. “I don’t know, I feel betrayed.”

“What would it take for you to let him be?” Kame asked, feeling Jin hook an arm around his waist.

“Anything?” Jin pushed.

“A-anything.” Kame answered.

Jin chuckled, lips inches away from his. “I can tell what you’re trying to do. I’m not that stupid. A certain senpai of yours taught you how to seduce me in order to bend my mind.”

Kame pulled slightly apart, not happy about being found out so easily. “I still think you should give Tsuyoshi one last chance.”

“I’ll give it some thought.” Jin promised, not letting Kame go too far. “Now come here.” Jin said and Kame was only too happy to.

The questions Kame had regarding his and Jin’s future seemed to get some answers as Jin kissed him harder, hands gripping his hips firmly. Last night was definitely going to have a sequel tonight and Jin would just have to get used to his presence in and out of prison.

Kame moaned into Jin’s mouth, feeling their lower bodies pressing together, lust rushing through him and taking over him, making him unaware of how hard he kissed Jin back and how his hands were wandering over Jin’s upper body in a manner they never really had dared to before.

Jin guiding his hips in something resembling a slow dry humping was taking its toll on Kame and he wanted nothing more than to lie down on his back and lose all their clothes, but as he tried to slip down Jin’s lap and take his usual position under Jin, the hands on his hips didn’t allow him to move.

“Stay where you are.” Jin murmured and Kame was a bit surprised at the request.

“A-ah, o…okay.” he managed to answer. It wasn’t that he didn’t enjoy dry humping, but he really wanted to cut to the chase even though he was sore from last night. Then as Jin released him from first his shirt and started working on his pants another thought hit Kame.

Did Jin want them to be in this position? With him on Jin’s lap?

He really liked it better when Jin was the one dominating, Jin was so good at it and it was slightly embarrassing when he had to be the one to control how they moved. Kame cursed himself and his big mouth, convinced it had gotten him into trouble again. Think before you say something!

“You’ll see what it is I find so enjoyable about being on top.” Jin said, kissing his lips a few times.

“Uh, what are you talking about?” Kame asked, lost.

What kind of a position was Jin referring to this time? Was this something new again Kame had never even heard of? What the hell had he just gone and agreed to?

“You’ll see why I like being on top so much. It’s about time we switched roles for a night, though it probably wouldn’t have worked in prison with me supposedly being your master and all.” Jin said. “Tonight, you’ll get to feel a different kind of pleasure you don’t have when being on the receiving end.”

“…What?” Kame asked, still lost until realization finally hit him. “What?! No!”

“Why not?” Jin asked, a little surprised at Kame’s reaction.

Kame’s face felt like it was burning up. “Stop teasing me…” he murmured instead of answering and moved closer on Jin’s hips again, purposely making Jin moan. He knew Jin’s weakness. All he needed to do was to get Jin to stop thinking too much and appeal to the part of the leader that just took what he wanted.

“I’m serious.” Jin replied and was not as distracted by Kame’s efforts as hoped.

“You want me to be…” Kame drowned into his own words and the blush just darkened further.

“…on top.” Jin finished. “What’s wrong with that? I promise you, you’ll like it.”

“N-no.” Kame answered in a voice higher than usual as Jin kissed a rather sensitive spot on his neck. “I… I don’t feel very much like a top tonight. Maybe some other time…”

“Aw, Kazu-chan, don’t be so against trying something new. Didn’t you just tell me you’d do anything?”

“B-but…” he struggled to find a good, solid argument against that and Jin chewing on his neck wasn’t helping his situation much. Why did he have the feeling that just when he had been trying to play Jin to forgive Tsuyoshi, Jin had played him into making such a promise? Had that been Jin’s aim from the start? “Please Jin, I like it better when you’re on top.”

“Better?” Jin repeated with a chuckle. “How can you know that when you’ve never even been on top?”

“But I-” Kame protested, wanting to climb down. “I… It’s just wrong!”

“Now, now…experience is all. Don’t you want to try out lots of things with me?”

Kame was silent, part of him knew he should be grateful Jin wanted to give him the chance but the other part just wanted to stick to what they knew.

As he was just sitting there, practically pouting, Jin kissed his ear speaking into it then, “Come on, Kazu. I want you to get to experience it at least once.”

“But I…” Kame blushed even darker. “I don’t know how to. I won’t be any good.”

There. He had said it. How could he do that with Jin, who was so good at being on top?

Jin smiled wider. “I’ll guide you. Don’t worry.”

Kame still wasn’t convinced this was a good idea, but he didn’t know how else to object after the promise he had made and so he just sat there immobile, watching Jin lie down instead, sending him a teasing look.

Defeated, Kame climbed to hover above Jin, who gave him a somewhat amused smile and waited for him to close the distance between their lips.

At least Jin’s kisses were still the same, tongue exploring his mouth before moving onto exploring his naked upper body. If Kame had expected Jin to be submissive even as bottom he was terribly wrong and as he wasn’t taking the offense Jin did, pushing him onto his back.

To be honest, Kame was quite relieved at that point and ready to give up the control and let Jin do whatever, but as Jin’s mouth was gradually going south and having reached his belly button, some part of Kame started to feel like stepping in. Jin undid his pants, hands continuing in under the last piece of clothing he wore and Kame bit back a gasp.

“Not quite as sensitive now. What does that tell me about you this past year?” Jin teased, eyeing him with a look Kame didn’t care to return. Instead he turned his head away, placing a hand over his lips like he usually did in a situation like that. Jin slapped that hand away. “What have I told you about silencing that beautiful voice of yours?”

It didn’t take a lot for Jin to make that voice sing too.

“You’ve missed me, haven’t you?” Jin said, a certain glimpse in his eyes as he said it. “All those long, lonely nights… I know your body better than anyone. I can tell.”

By the tone of Jin’s voice Kame knew exactly what kind of missing Jin was referring to. With the absence of Jin and in order to gain control over his body, he had tried to learn more about it. At first all attempts to do so had failed and been awkward, but eventually Kame had gained the control and the knowledge.

He really wished Jin wouldn’t tease him when Jin had been the one to suggest Kame would do to himself what Jin was doing right now, and Kame had to admit he liked what Jin did better.

“Though I can also tell, you didn’t do it all that often…” Jin said and Kame wanted to shut Jin up, realizing then that it was exactly what Jin was playing at. If Kame gave Jin the control tonight Jin would torment him all night. The only way to escape that was to take control himself. Jin wasn’t going to let Kame just lie back this time and Kame begun to not want to either as Jin kept talking. “What did you imagine?” Jin asked, resisting all efforts Kame made to cut in and even to try to take control, and Kame ended up on his back again as Jin ripped the pants off him.

“What happened to me…being…on top?” Kame managed to complain in between the sweet torture Jin put him through and Jin sent him a smile.

“If you want to dominate you need to take control yourself.” was the answer and the advice turned out to be useless to him as Jin’s mouth took over for his hand and Kame wasn’t even in control of himself anymore.

Kame had seldom as a boy toy experienced this kind of pleasure, as it had always been his job to give it to Jin. It partly made him feel like cutting in and taking Jin’s place.

If this was Jin’s idea of ‘guiding him’ it sure wasn’t Kame’s.

“Oh god, Jin!” he moaned, as Jin left him spent after having tortured the hell out of him a few times around first. But despite the fact that he was already dead tired, the mischievous look Jin sent him had him propping up on his elbows. He was not about to just admit defeat to Jin that easily. Jin could dominate, but Jin couldn’t toy with him.

Kame managed to sit back up and knowing he would have to fight for dominance, he didn’t give Jin a chance to make a move before him, pinning the leader down on the sheets and straddling his hips to keep him in place on his back.

He placed his lips down on Jin’s half-exposed chest, purposely touching one collarbone with them in some kind of a pathetic revenge, and Jin moved involuntarily back into the sheets. With a smile on his lips, that Jin surely felt, Kame left Jin’s collar bones alone and kissed his way down Jin’s chest, pausing by the leader’s pants and made the mistake of hesitating a few seconds too long as Jin caught his head in one hand, bringing him back up to meet his lips in a heated kiss.

He released the hold Jin had on his head, untangling Jin’s fingers from his hair, as he pulled away and broke the kiss.

“Behave.” he practically ordered, where he was hovering on top of Jin and the leader sent him only a smile in response. Kame knew he was asking for the impossible and therefore he enjoyed wiping that smile off Jin’s face when he trailed his hand back down Jin’s chest, undoing the pants and slipping it in. Jin could have a taste of that ‘not quite as sensitive now’ as Kame stroked the long length, drawing out moans from Jin, who closed his eyes and leaned his head back. Kame hated the fact that the sight of Jin made him the one to blush.

He withdrew his hand before he could send Jin over, liking the groan that escaped the leader’s lips at the loss of contact at the most critical moment. Kame blamed Jin entirely for this having turned into some sort of a game between them and it was first then that it hit Kame where this was leading. He knew he had to keep the control before Jin took it from him again and that meant to dominate all the way till the end or admit defeat now. At that moment Kame hesitated on purpose, prepared to allow Jin all the control back to use however the leader pleased. Preferably Jin would use it wisely too and do what Kame so loved, which meant basically letting last night repeat itself.

As he let go off the control, Jin sat up again and Kame momentarily met his eyes, wondering what went on inside Jin’s head, before Jin reached his hand under the mattress in the upper bed.

Kame sat still on the bed as Jin retrieved it and they were at eye level again.

“Jin…” Kame said as the leader reached for him next, but Jin didn’t seem to listen to his silent protest as Jin’s hands were back on him again, touching him a little more than necessary in the process of preparing him, before lying back down.

Kame just returned his gaze for a while, feeling like he should say something but not finding any words. He just knew this seemed terribly wrong to him for a reason he couldn’t even place his finger on. He was not Jin’s boy toy anymore and Jin wasn’t his master, but it still felt wrong to climb on top of his ex-master like this.

“Take it easy.” Jin murmured, as he touched his lips against Kame’s and Kame had a feeling the advice had really been meant for him not to hurt himself. Kame wondered if Jin knew that he had never been this scared in his life apart from his own first time.

Heart slamming in his chest, he felt one of Jin’s hands grab his hip again, guiding him properly this time. The vision of Jin catching his breath made him shiver and he felt that warm breath on his lips next as Jin pulled him down for another kiss.

Was this how Jin always felt? He had never even given it all that much thought how it would be like to be the one on top, as he automatically always took the other role. The pleasure that followed with that role was something he knew very well and he found it hard to comprehend Jin was experiencing it now.

All of a sudden the hand on his hip suddenly stopped his movements and he had to catch his breath, being buried deep inside of the other man. Jin’s eyes found his and the free hand with the silver ring on one finger ran through his hair, brushing it away from where it was hanging over his face.

“This will prove to you once and for all. Our days as master and boy toy are over. This is something a boy toy can never do to his master. We’re equal.” Jin said, hand slowly releasing its hold and allowing him to move again, which he definitely needed to. Jin chuckled. “Breathe.”

He definitely tried to and under him Jin’s eyes fluttered shut.

“D-does it hurt?” Kame asked, heart still slamming inside his chest. He felt like he had been running for hours, he was completely out of breath.

He was relieved to see that same smile and Jin hooked an arm around his neck, kissing him before answering, “I’m fine. You can go faster, you’re driving me nuts.”

Kame was so slow and sensitive. Nothing like the few times Jin had been bottom before. It gave him a whole other insight into Kame’s mind, the way Kame pictured sex. He learned so much more about Kame’s body now that he had never known before.

Releasing Kame’s neck, he found the boy’s left hand on the bed, almost causing Kame to lose his balance as he slipped his fingers into Kame’s, uniting their hands the way they always did. He wasn’t used to seeing his ring beneath Kame’s golden one and smiled for himself.

He had been so dominating during the whole time he had known Kame, always getting it his way that Kame had grown too used to taking the submissive role, while Jin knew for a fact Kame had other sides too and he wanted to release them. He wanted Kame to be everything Kame was with him. If he wanted someone who’d just submit, he might as well get himself a boy toy. And he finally wanted to break out of the chain of thoughts once and for all that Kame was inferior to him in any sense. Kame would learn the boy really owned him as much as he did Kame.

His gaze turned back to the boy on top of him. Was this where Kame had fallen in love with him, lying under him, watching his face the way Jin watched Kame’s now? It didn’t matter if he was looking at the boy from above or beneath him, Kame still mesmerized him.

Unintentionally Jin gripped Kame’s hip harder, guiding the boy’s speed and movements more and more towards the end. He enjoyed reaching the edge this way for a change and the poor boy on top of him crashed into his arms into a pile, fighting to catch his breath. Jin’s hand moved from Kame’s hip to hug his back.

“Are you alright?” Kame asked worriedly, as the boy had finally pulled himself together.

“Yup.” Jin replied, having to smile at how worried Kame had sounded. The smaller boy fought his way off of him and Jin made room for him on the bed next to him, playfully cuddling into him and resting his head in the crook of Kame’s neck.

“H-how did it feel? I mean, I know you’ve done it before, but…” Kame said. “And I know what it feels like to be on bottom...”

“You were fine.” Jin replied somewhat amused with how curious Kame was and faintly remembering having similar questions after his own first time many years ago.

“R-really?” Kame asked.

“Yep.” Jin smiled, hugging him tighter. “If you weren’t you wouldn’t have pushed me over the edge.”

Kame wasn’t sure if he had needed to hear that last part.

“You’ll get used to it.” Jin added then and Kame lifted his head to look at him.

“What do you mean ‘you’ll get used to it’?” Kame asked. “Are we going to do that again sometime?”

“Didn’t you like it? I prefer being on top, but switching roles could be fun every now and then.” Jin said and Kame looked to be at a loss for words. “What?”

“N-nothing.” Kame said and after a moment voiced his next question, something Kame had wondered about before but there had never been a more fitting moment to ask Jin, “What…was your first time like?”

“The very first?” Jin asked.

“Yes.”

Jin heaved a sigh and Kame wondered why that topic was something Jin didn’t want to talk to him about. “My first time was just fooling around. It was with another guy, and I was on top.”

“Just fooling around?”

“Yeah. Just experimenting. It didn’t mean anything. Sure, I love him, but-” Jin cut himself off, but knew it was too late. “Uh, I love him, but as a friend.”

Kame was starting to guess now, or more like accepting something he had known for quite some time already to be the truth.

Jin sighed, irritated at his slip. “We were horny school boys curious about sex, so it felt pretty amazing to feel someone else touch you for a change.”

Kame was silent for a while before saying, “Your first time was with Yamapi, wasn’t it?”

“It was a long time ago.” Jin replied. “I don’t see him as anything but a friend…and an annoying one.”

“But your closest one.” Kame said.

“Too close.” Jin said. “He doesn’t need to get any closer than he is now, meaning in the east wing. I think leaving him there when we escape would be a good idea.”

“You don’t mean that. And you don’t have to explain.” Kame said. “You had a life before I came along. Of course you’ve loved people before me.”

“Never quite like this though.” Jin said, patting Kame’s thigh through the blanket and that made a smile form on Kame’s lips as he felt slightly better hearing that. “You are the only former boy toy who has ever put me on my back. No preys have either.”

“So who has?” Kame asked.

“A few one-night stands.” Jin replied rather curt.

Kame was about to let the subject slide when another thought hit him. “Did Yamapi ever?”

He heard Jin heave a sigh again. “We fought over who’d get to be on top, I won and was his first…then we switched. Night, sweetie.”

Seeing how Jin definitely wanted to escape this conversation Kame said, “Don’t worry I won’t ask you about it again.”

Jin opened his eyes. “That’s not what I meant. I just don’t…like remembering it. I mean, what was I thinking? Why with him? It feels weird these days, I could never repeat it…not that I’d want to repeat any of the other things I’ve done either that doesn’t include you.”

Even though they say knowledge is pain and some things undeniably stung hearing from Jin, Kame still wanted to know everything there was to know about Jin. Over the years Kame had come to accept jealousy and being apart from someone and missing them badly only meant that the person was dear to you. It was the only way he had learned to deal with Jin’s past.

“Just in case you just got any ideas of getting up and leaving tomorrow, I’ll have you know that now that you’ve had me I’ll be following you around forever.” Jin warned as Kame hadn’t said anything for a while. “I would’ve broken out and come for you earlier, but you guys really fixed this place up.”

“I didn’t want you to come for me before I came for you.” Kame replied, the smile returning to his lips as he gave Jin’s head a kiss before adding, “Night, Jin.”

~*~*~*~

It was already dark as Masa walked out of his new office, having committed more treacherous acts behind Johnny’s back from there while Johnny was convinced he was looking out for his boss.

“Thank you.” he said to the guards, who let him out and he walked across the parking lot, stopping by his car, but instead of getting straight in his head turned back towards the prison.

He sort of missed Kame’s company, having grown used to it over the past year. He had always done everything alone, worked best alone. He had never considered himself lonely either, as he knew that to start longing for a partner of any kind would bring back the memories of Gackt he had managed to repress. But Kame had actually made it possible for him to enter even this building he had hated to be in before and instead of repressing the memories with Gackt he had learned to cherish them while he moved down his own path.

A smile spread over his face as he recalled some of them now. At this moment Kame was probably wrapped in the arms of the person he loved the most. The person Kame had been willing to do anything for, even go back to prison on his own accord...even turned Masa’s head around an impossible request Kame had come to him with roughly a year ago…

“No.” Masa said, his face stern. “My answer is no.”

“Well, if that’s your answer then this is mine,” Kame said. “I’m going back to Korea.”

Kame made it a few steps before Masa spoke again.

“Wait.”

Kame felt slightly victorious at that moment as he turned to face the other man.

“Fine, you have my word.” Masa replied. “I will release them from prison and wipe their records clean, but they won’t stay clean for long. That I can also promise you.”

“I only need you to keep your first promise.” Kame said and walked out the office, looking somewhat self-satisfied.

“That didn’t take all too long.” Tsuyoshi said, appearing into the room sometime after Kame had left it. “I knew he would try to save us all someway.”

“You were spying again?” Masa asked.

“You knew I could’ve stopped him from leaving, but you agreed on his terms.” Tsuyoshi said.

“With force, but you couldn’t have changed his mind. Not when he’s got his heart set on something, because he doesn’t listen to reason then.” Masa replied and Tsuyoshi strolled over to him, sitting down on his desk.

“You don’t really mind the Johnnys going free.” Tsuyoshi said, studying his face.

“What he said is true, we do need them.” Masa admitted. “Just as long as Johnny Kitagawa doesn’t go free, I’ll cut anyone else some slack.”

Tsuyoshi smiled. “You knew this would happen, didn’t you? By taking him away from Akanishi and letting him figure some things out on his own, putting him in this situation he doesn’t want to be in and even less wants us Johnnys to be in, namely in prison, you knew he would try to come up with a solution for everyone.”

“When reason and facts seem too cold or harsh, he’ll abandon them and run in the direction his heart tells him. It usually leads him down a road that may not be easy, but will eventually lead him to the end of that road to a place where he wants to be.” Masa said. He had waited to see what place that would be, what middle ground Kame would discover between the two worlds he was caught in between. “I began wondering if that is such a stupid thing to do after all.”

“It’s leading him to prison.” Tsuyoshi said. “He’s willing to go there himself and if the gangs don’t cooperate with the terms for their freedom then they’ll all be stuck there.”

“It’s leading him to Akanishi. Whether it’s in prison or not, that’s the one place he truly wants to be at.” Masa said. “And even if we catch all the gangs, Akanishi will eventually break out if only to get his hands on Kame-chan again. They’re like two magnets. We won’t be able to keep the gangs in there for as long this time. Kame-chan’s right; might as well have them as allies rather than enemies.”

“You’re turning soft…” Tsuyoshi said, amusement in his voice, and the gangster left the room, but would probably not be far away.

Brushing the comment off, Masa turned back to his desk…

“You could’ve done this any other way, Kame-chan.” Masa said, gaze still set at the prison before him. “I could’ve hidden you away from Johnny once he discovered your part in his recent misfortunes. You could’ve gone somewhere to hide until he was weak enough for you to return, but you wanted here. Back to prison, back to him. Not many would commit a crime and go to prison voluntarily to be reunited with their loved ones.”

A smile spread on his face. “Welcome back, Kame-chan. See you on the outside.” Masa added before jumping in his car and taking off.
