Look! It's the Long Lost Recs Tag!
Before I forget for the third time, a very belated thank you to jenna_marianne and margi_lynn for the snowman cookies on my user profile!
Forgive the lack of order under the cut tags, but I figured I had to start somewhere to work my way back into the habit. Not much more than a handful, really, but they're tasty and go well with a nice Barefoot Moscato, which I happen to have chilling in the fridge. That and some Jarlsberg cheese and onion dip with pretzel crackers pretty much round out my New Year's Eve plans. Maybe while watching The Boondock Saints or The Losers. :D

Summary: Brain acquires an iPhone to aid his plans for world domination, but all Pinky wants to do is have fun on the internets. How will he end up ruining Brain's plan this time?

The Muppet Show with Our Very Special Guest: Alton Brown | (Not Yet Revealed) [Gen, PG, 2.410 words]
Summary: Alton Brown guest stars on the Muppet Show, the Disney Company has sent Winnie-the-Pooh to check out their new acquisition and chaos ensues.
Review Note: Wonderfully random, as the Muppets are wont to be. *loves*
Texts from Cephalopods | (Not Yet Revealed) [Gen, PG, 1.547 words]
Summary: It is a well-established fact in marine biology that the octopus is the drunk texter of the cephalopod family.
Review Note: This does indeed win Yuletide. I strongly suspect this was written by the squid and based on real life experiences. (If you've seen some of the octopus videos referenced in the fic, you know what I mean.) It's an... epistolary fic actually, so warnings for embedded images (which are restored after a sudden explosion of popularity caused the author's image account to exceed bandwidth. Oops.)
Cold Making Warmth | (Not Yet Revealed) [Steve/Tony, PG-13, 2.436 words]
Summary: Steve settles upon the few things he knows for sure: that the days are short, and it's cold, and he doesn't mind looking dumb for making the effort. So screw the protocol, whether it exists or not - he's giving gifts.
Review Note: The gifts he chooses are wonderful.

Summary: Loki watched, and saw, and thought. She thought there was a decision to be made, until she realized there was none: her son, her beautiful, strange, wonderful son, was a horse. There was magic in him, yes, but it was the magic of a horse.
Review Note: Sleipnir's first days with Loki. Absolutely fantastic - highly recommended.
