Random Post is Random
- Something guaranteed to make me do a double take: a fic post with the fandom label NCIS/Pern in the title. NCIS/Pern?? I want to read it, and will eventually, but as much as I enjoyed various books of the Dragonriders of Pern series, I don't remember enough about the world to really appreciate a crossover. *sigh* I may have an SGA/Pern crossover laying around somewhere to read as well, but that's a combo that comes as no surprise. SGA is kind of whorish that way. :P

(Click for full size version) - You may have noticed a temporary navigation for the STXI Obsession Recs Master List that wandered through your flist a few days back! Yes, this means I finally split up the Master List. The Master List post is now the Main Navigation, so any links still work, or it can be viewed all at once by clicking on the dedicated tag ( obsession.master.list @ LJ and obsession.master.list @ DW). New recs and an update are slated for Thursday!
- There are a few new garden pics up at Blue Melon » Garden 2009 for those who are exceptionally interested, as I don't seem to be getting around to making an actual post with images. Today though I am managing to dry some herbs - basil and orange mint, specifically.
- Zebras at ZooBorns! The particularly interesting tidbit: Researchers used to think that zebras were born white and grew black stripes but have recently discovered that the underlying color is in fact black and the white color is the add-on.
- An especially pretty Daniel picture over at DanielPix - I'm a sucker for the blue sky behind him.

That's all I've got folks - like I said, new STXI updates are coming Thursday and in the meantime I'm figuring out how to airmail y'all tomatoes and peppers. If anyone has that tech laying around for cheap, personal transporters could you get on that production stat? :P
