YAY and Posting to Dreamwidth via Semagic
WHOO HOO!! I am now blueMeridian over at Dreamwidth!!
I was not at all expecting to have an account before April 30th, so when I got the email that my OpenID (with confirmed email address) had been drawn in the random lottery, I squeed very quietly so as not to wake up my husband beside me. *g*
Also, info on posting to Dreamwidth via Semagic:
1. If you have it set to automatically log-on, then log-out (Semagic pen logo with a red X next to it in the main toolbar). Once you're at the log-in screen, click on "File", then on "Server Settings".
2. Change the text in the first box from "www.livejournal.com" to "www.dreamwidth.org".
3. Enter your Dreamwidth username and password.
4. Click "Okay" -- you'll be returned to the log-in screen.
5. Re-enter your Dreamwidth username and password in the log-in screen. If you want to continue using both services, leave "Automatically Log-in" unchecked so that you are given the option of which to use whenever you start Semagic (or you could just log-off and log-in with the other service, it's up to you).
6. Click "Log-in" and ta da! You may now post to Dreamwidth via Semagic.
(I'm not planning on moving wholesale from here, although Dreamwidth may well become home base, especially as I read most of my flist via feeds at this point. Regardless, I plan on cross posting for the time being.)
