Idea of the day: Beck, Bono and Bjork record an album and call it "The B-Sides". All the songs begin with B. Guest appearances by Beyonce, etc. Their first song could be titled "Barack" and it would be an impassioned anthem about Iraq (it rhymes!) and peace and stuff. Love, probably ( Read more... ) -

Salmonella in Pistachios Spurs Recall!*
I've been eating so many pistachios lately. And now they've been recalled, reported here in CNN. I guess if I get really bad diarrhea then I should go to the doctor because I might have salmonella poisoning. Yikes. I learned that on the Mayo Clinic site. Nuttin' honey
This started with me thinking about 30 Rock. I've never had to give myself a Heimlich by throwing myself on a chair. I hope I never have to. The other day I thought I was going to choke on a pistachio nut (they are still in my top 5 things in life), but I was able to swallow it. Sibling rivalry
After watching the Giants' impressive performance today, I thought, imagine if the Giants end up playing the Colts in the superbowl?* Manning vs. Manning! I know it's totally different since it's a team sport, not an individual sport, but it makes me think of how lackluster the games I've seen between Venus Williams and Serena Williams have been.
