I first heard Ron Sexsmith play at a Canada Day concert in London, and later bought one of his CDs. HIs voice reminds me of Roy Orbison, and his music (admittedly from one of his older CDs, pictured here) has a country/folksy/somewhat-poppy feel to it. I guess he's not famous in the states, but fame may not be the right measure of success if you want a long lasting career and life. Michael Jackson was super famous and look what that brought him.
