I had to comment on your third choice...while I too am a Journey fan and love this song, I can no longer listen to it without thinking of my first husband. He proposed to me with this song playing in the background and forever tainted it. LOL

awesome!!! thank you so much!!!

in pittsburgh, there is a cover band called bon journey, which, as you can guess, would meet all of your needs. me and friends constantly follow and are still living the dream that i will be able to hoof it there for a concert. they have a standing "concert" new years eve at a holiday inn off of a commercial strip. classy! bon journey webpage. looks like they are rocking some county fairs, these days. who doesn't love fireworks?

Holy shit. You have got to go see that band! Nothing must hold you back! Wow, their classiness knows no bounds. You have to go and get them to sign your t-shirt.

How was your birthday?

birthday was awesome! honestly, it was one of the best birthdays i've had in a long time. from the lovely comment you made on lj, to awkward cake time with coworkers to a wonderful dinner with a bunch of friends who showed up with like a day's notice. it was so amazing to be surrounded by such love all day. :) and, i got a huge bouquet of flowers from my mom and dad AND my sister surprise called me from cameroon. made of win!
