Otaku Taiki con report
So, I went to Otaku Taiki yesterday, where I went alone because my sister fell ill. I came with two costumes, a partial HRE and casual!Canada and met up with some more Hetalia peeps before going off with osmalic and wunder
Impressions about the con: people weren't staying inside the hall. D: There were fewer booths offering merchandise - but the ones I saw were quite good, actually. I think whatever was happening on stage simply wasn't capturing people's attention, which is kinda sad, because I was amused when they did their version of Pinoy Henyo. The person was supposed to be guessing Code Geass, but kept saying stuff about hentai anime. xDDD; Better cameras on the photographers, and there were lots of them. Also a surprising amount of people just dressed up in Harajuku/Lolita/VK outfits. Maybe next con I can go and take pictures of them as well.

The first person I met was actually Finland neko_panigiri, who was dressed up as Miku today.

I actually didn't get to go with their photoshoot, because I was going to meet up with friends. Also I wanted to take some pictures of the other cosplayers. Note to self: if taking part in a group shoot, take pictures of everyone else before the meetup. Also I did my best moe-moe impression to get them to agree to think about cosplaying next time :D
There were a couple of cosplays I missed. Namely Astroboy, Ciels (there were at least 2!), most of the Naruto cosplayers and a Haruhi group! D:

Guns! It was getting harder to take pictures as the afternoon wore on because of lighting.
It was absolutely difficult to take a picture of the Gundam alone. Everyone was taking pictures with it.
