Matt Daniel of The Pudding blog, which he calls a Weekly Journal of Visual Essays, has an interesting article called Where New Slang Comes From. In it, he breaks down the most popular new slang for 2013-2016. What I found intriguing was his breakdown of slang from 2016 that had a political catalyst, especially how a fake news source like Breitbart ( Read more... )
