G-town Downtown.
We finally won. It was a cool race becuase we pulled ahead early and just kept walking on them. The thing is, our 3V was in the same race with us and we were up on them, and they started to walk back on us. Our sprint was a little weak, but our 3V really hung in there and gave us a run for our money. They were SmOkIn'.
anyway, i'll update with pictures if I get any good ones. I was playing photographer for the boat christening ceremony today, as well. that was a good time. the supt was there and I really respected the fact that he stayed all morning in his yacht and watched all the races from start to finish; he was there for all the heavyweight and lightweight events and followed us down the seawall with about 400m to go, all the while keeping his wake just behind us. It was great to see him out there and at the ceremony.
alright, even though it's ridiculously nice out, i'm going to go research for my paper in western civ., however that won't keep me from going running later ;)
