Payday! As well as a nice little $500 bonus for being awesome at my job. Pretty excited about today--I have to work this morning, but then Dee and I are going shopping for our wine tasting party! Grocery store for food and Party City for some small decorations. We're expecting to have about 15 people here, should be a good time. Tonight, Amanda, Desiree and I are going to watch Glee 3D, and after that I'm hopeful I can round up someone to join me for a few beers at Liquid Smoke. Busy and fun-filled day.
Recap of yesterday/last week at work because I'm kind of proud of myself: I hadn't opened any checking accounts as of yesterday, which, as DDA Coordinator, is no good. On the bright side, I was busting my ass in every other category. I booked 5 credit cards last week (which equals an extra $100 on my incentive paycheck in October), a $10,000 premier line (after a 0 production week at the branch, which means I saved us from having a call night), and finally ended up opening two checking accounts yesterday! Mike was so thrilled with my work he sent an e-mail out to our branch praising me for my hard work, and CC'ed Tracy, our district manager, in on it. Tracy was then so thrilled with my work she forwarded that e-mail out to everyone in the district AND told Mike she was sending me "Bravo Bucks" which is essentially a check with my name on it. And told Mike that I and one other employee are "shining stars" in our district.
If it seems like I'm bragging it's because I am. Nothing gets me as excited as excelling at my job does. :D
