Help, please!!
So, I'm making my dress for senior prom this year, and now that I'm done with applications, it's probably a good idea that I get started.
Except, I'm very much indecisive about what dress I actually want to make, and your opinion (yes, every one of you) is required to aid my decision-making.
The colors I'm thinking of are a dark red/slightly maroon/cabernet type color, accented with a cream color (in the belt or flounce, depending on the dress).
So, here are the patterns in question:
A.) In this case I'd do the longest one, perhaps even elongating it (like the white design they have). I'd probably do the top sash and tulle in the cream color.
This is a pretty dress all around, but I'm afraid it might come out looking generic or plain.

B.) I'd do the red/white style, except making the base the cabernet, and the long tie in the cream.
This one is goregously elegant, but it'd probably make me look like a flatchested boy, due to how the top is built. Also, I might have to sew a petticoat to give the skirt any volume. I could never enter the dance floor without aiming to trash this thing, either. It is so splendrous, though.

C.) I picked this one out recently, after falling in love with this dress. Now, to get the effect seen in the Leyendecker illustration, I'd have to get rid of the runching down the middle, and add a few more layers of flounce. Looking at the pattern, this is not impossible, but it will be difficult.
Although, this gown works a bit more to what I've got - this one shows more of my figure, whereas the other two have big skirts and flattening tops.
Also, if you vote for this one, please specify whether I should stick to how the pattern is (particularly the middle one with the runching all down the front and the lace in the cream color), or if I should go for the look of the Leyendecker illustration, with more flounce and a non-runched torso part.
I own all of the patterns, I have the muslin ready to make a draft of whichever I choose, but I just need to decide.
