Well, lots going on. A couple of weeks ago, Don bought me a cute little blue scooter to ride to work on. It saves on gas since it gets over a 100 miles to the gallon. NICE! Turns out because of the size of the motor I need to get a motorcylce license to be legal. So, Don and I took our written test and have our learner's permit. We will have to take the driving test within the next 3 months. Pretty cool, later we can move up to a motorcycle. It is alot of fun!
This past weekend was a very busy weekend. Friday night we were suppose to go to Don's work party (BBQ) and then later to my work party. Well, we did not make it to mine. It was a fun BBQ. I got to meet some people Don works with. It was good socializing and good food. We stayed there till almost 10, then drove home. Saturday, we were suppose to go to a High School graduation, we wound up not going due to making appointments to view a couple of houses. There was a graduation party later in the afternoon, so we thought we would go to that instead. After viewing some houses we had a birthday party to go to. My friend Tammy, she has two adorable boys whose birhtdays we were celebrating. A couple of old friends were visiting up from Renton. Don and I have not seen them in about 2 years. It was really nice to visit and catch up with them. They have a little 3 year old as well, she has grown alot since we saw her last. Tyler and Braeden turned 6 and 3. We all went to the park and dinner after the party. We all planned an upcoming camping trip at the end of July too. That will be fun! It was good to see you Kevin and Drea!! Tammy, thank you for such a wonderful party :D
Sunday, Don and I rested for a bit. Later that evening, Tammy invited us over for a BBQ. That was fun. We all went to the park afterwards to shoot some hoops. Had a good time.
Out of the houses we viewed we liked one. It is out in the Birch Bay/Blaine area. We are debating on wether we should go for it or not. Figuring out all the expenses and what we are willing to pay for the monthly payments. That part is stressful. The other thing we are running into is once we find something we like, the sale is pending and or someone already made an offer. There were 2 in which we were willing to make an offer on but both were pending and pretty much sold. For example, there was one in Ferndale, it had a deck in the front and back on a half acre... it is pretty much sold. Bummer. Well, when the time is right, the payments are right...it will happen.
That is about it for now. Will attempt to keep this updated better. I find myself not on the internet very often.
