The Happenings....
Well, turns out the graphic design position was not meant for me. Truthfully, I was a bit upset and feeling rather discouraged. My wonderful husband was very supportive and we have been praying about it. I came to the conclusion that God knows me better than myself and has bigger and better plans than I can imagine. It is not all bad because I do enjoy what I am doing at work. I am just more motivated to work on my portfolio some more.
My pastor came up to me the other night at bible study and asked if I would like to design a flyer for this years camping trip. I jumped right on that oppurtunity. At least I still get to enjoy designing and serve for the church :D
Don and I have been looking at houses/condos. We have looked into how much me qualify for a loan. We are in no huge hurry, we will wait in the Lord's timing :D
Don and I have been married for 8 months now....WOW, the time is just flying by. So far, marriage is wonderful! I just pray it continues to go well and we grow closer till death do us part. I believe the Lord will keep us strong :D I love you sweetheart!! We are going to celebrate our 8 months tonight. A nice dinner, a movie and a game of pool possibly. It will be nice.
Last night my friend Jen and I headed up to Abbotsford, BC to support her brother on his first live gig. Jake and the members of Shure Fire put on an amazing show (GREAT JOB!!)You could tell they all were really enjoying themselves. It was fun! I am amazed what alcahol does to people... Jen and I did not drink, but man can people get out of hand. Before the show we went to dinner at The Nuthouse Grill in Lynden. They have yummy sweet potatoes...hehe. It was really nice to talk and hang out. My hubby wanted to go but he does not have a birth certificate or passport so he was afraid of not being able to get back into the states. I don't blame him. I know the band will be playing locally here soon, so then Don can see them :D
I am going to be hosting a Partylite party on Friday the 28th. Not sure of the actual time just yet but anyone that would be interested please let me know.
