well, actually...to add more to that Pastor Bruce had a story about a guy that wanted to buy a motorcycle that wasnt on sale when he went to this dude's garage sale. the owner said it would take just as much money to fix it as you would buy a new one! the other dude wanted to buy it anyway; there was something about it!!!
sooo, the new owner contacted Harley Davison peeps to get repair the bike for him. They contacted him back and said, "Sir, do you have any idea what is under the seat?" The new owner checked his bike and it said, "THE KING"...referring to the king of rock and roll. yep, ELVIS ONCED OWNED HIS MOTORCYCLE.
(true story....forgive me if i dont know all of the details)
they said the would give him about thousands of dollars for his famously-owned motorcycle!!!
He told them he would think about it!
Then Jay Leno peeps called him up and had a bigger offer for him!
THEY ALL WANTED TO BUY THE BIKE FOR THOUSANDS BECAUSE IT WAS OWNED BY ELVIS, EVEN THOUGH IT WAS "NOT IN THE BEST SHAPE"
In just the same way...God will give everything and take back His son that onced left him. (PARABLE OF THE LOST SON)
The son was "livin it up", spending His fathers inheritance at such a young age, then a time came when the all went downhill. He was having a blast for awhile....and then realized that His father let Him go, but maybe he should have left! eeeek!!!
HIS FATHER REJOICED WHEN HE CAME BACK!!!
T here's noo way that God leaves us. HE LETS US MAKE OUR DECISIONS! He lets you walk away from Him. Your choice, dude! WHAT KIND OF LOVE WOULD FORCED LOVE BE? GOD CANT FORCE OUR LOVE FOR HIM!!!!
