Rachel and I just saw this yesterday. Amazing film, amazing women. And, once again, something that includes information about Phil Spector leaves the viewer with the general impression of, "Man, was that guy a dick."

So last night, Chris and I watched The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (English language version, with Daniel Craig) and this afternoon we saw Lincoln. Guess which one I liked better? ( Answer: Not the first one... )

Rachel and I just watched Billy Elliot. She'd never seen it before and thought it was adorable (and was expecting it to be sadder). It was the second time for me. Every day that I commute by bike I ride to and from work via the front of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, where the Rocky statue now resides. We went to see Pom Wonderful Presents: The Greatest Movie Ever Sold and really enjoyed it. It was frequently a laugh-out-loud experience, especially the actual commercials for some of the film's sponsors that were inserted in it, which the filmmaker did both with a completely straight face and with tongue-in-cheek (a pretty good trick).
